Agree. I have those same grey bags and they’re just not as nice as the Eagle Creek ones I have. Also, if you’re gonna have packing cubes they should compress, in my opinion. The Amazon ones just don’t do much for making things smaller.

Absolutely LOVE the content... And just an alternate suggestion if the higher end stuff doesn't fit into ones budget... GLAD bags, or whatever brand, come in many different sizes... A much more economical solution, and in a pinch, can just go to the local store to buy... And as long as wrinkles arent a concern, I have found that rolling up t-shirts, socks, boxers, shorts, etc, etc, is a very effective way to pack and 'maximize' the limited space of a carry on... I also suggest taking pics on the cell of the way you packed before when you leave...that way, when the trip is over and you're packing up, youre not standing there scratching your head and saying to yourself 'how did I fit all of this in here?' LOL, we must have the same Big Time mind...I wrote about the roll technique and right at the end, you mentioned it, just as I was wrapping up my Big Time long-winded comment...

What I like about Big Time Guys as they think of things that I don’t. I’ve been doing it the dummy way for a long time now. This is a great idea if you travel with Big Time Kids and everyone can have their own little cube in the big bag and it saves a lot of sorting out who is who and what is what.

So Far the Gear Boxes have been good about durability. Maybe not an aluminum box but much better than a plastic box from Walmart. When you ask which is the red one I think you mean what size? That is the medium size. The smaller of the 2 sizes TNF makes. Thanks for watching!

I like Chaco but no toe loop for me. I've tried them before and the toe loop tightens on my big toe as I walk. I'm a bigger guy so I prefer the Mega Z with the wider straps.

Kind of a random comment, and not sure if you have done a vid on this topic... But I have made 'dummy cords' for knives, wallets, etc, etc... From PARACORD... I wouldn't go camping without a couple hundred feet of it... Multi-functional, and it can be crafted/used for just about anything one would need... Just a thought...

Here's a suggestion, for EDC... Rufus mentioned a wallet... What about a cheap 'throwaway' wallet?... Put a couple of bucks in it, with several convenience store discount cards (Sheetz, Wawa, etc)... If you dont CC, it's a really good way to give someone trying to rob you something that 'shows' some value... They take it, open it, see cash, and what they think are credit cards, are really worthless... You stay safe, while keeping your real wallet secure...👍

The Leatherman Arc is an improvement on the Wave but you do lose the serrated blade. Even so, either one will make for a great EDC tool. I have both but I would pick up the Arc first if going out on a job. Previously it would have been the Wave or a Victorinox Spirit.
