The 90 mm motor is way more powerful than I thought. It will take the plane vertical for extended climbs. The rudder control authority is super strong. A bonus is the plane will slow way down for landings and slow flight without any surprises. Lots of fun and lots to experiment with in the future!

I think I’ve seen way more crashes of this new F-14 than any other rc model ever.

There seems to be a rash of these uncontrollable new 64mm F-14 crashes. The wing sweep seems to be the cause in this one. I'm not sure if it has been identified in the other crashes I've viewed on YT yet or not. Someone had a nose-dive when changing from 1/2 flaps back to no flaps. On the 80mm F-14 there was always the danger and note to make sure the flaps were UP before swinging the wings back, and mixes were in place to make sure that happens. It's easy to see how a stuck flap could alter the symmetry of the wing sweep. Is it possible any of that is going on with this 64mm F-14?

Freewing is having quality control issues with electronics lately. My F-16 ESC burned out mid-air and the plane dove straight into the ground. This was after 9 successful and stable flights over several weeks. MotionRC won't do anything about it. You are not the only 64mm F-14 to crash. I suspect this model will have a lot of problems going forward.
