I like your informational videos. Are the reasonably rate yearround rv parks that are more like a community? Thinking of relocating from Payson, Az
Yes, Fairgrounds RV park in Prescott Valley is very reasonable and offers year round. They sometimes have a wait list however I will say persistence is key! We have had many clients stay there while building.
I am interested in buying a big truck and an RV but do not want to pay CA taxes on it. It is worth moving to another state to retire in.....
Not sure how the taxes would work. May be looking into further. There are some counties in Az that will allow for you to reside in your rv on your land. There are also many people Who full time in their rvs in our county and park them at the fairgrounds RV park. Monthly lease is low and it’s a well kept area.
@@livinginprescott I am looking for a house with RV parking and a HOA (if applicable) that allows a big garage with 12' (or bigger) high doors for RVs to parking in
Most of the reasons you list are exactly why we did move into the area.
That’s awesome!! Welcome to the area.
@livinginprescott Been here for two years, but thanks.
They are correct. Please don't move to this wonderful little place called Prescott, Prescott Valley, Humboldt, or Dewey. We have too many people and not enough housing or amenities to cater to the massive influx of people, which is a bad thing as the rush creates problems for everyone. Our town used to be beautiful and quaint before the realtors and remote working became popular along with the plandemic and that's when they started advertising our small towns on KZread like an auction to destroy the suburban life and pushing all of us local, born and raised Arizonans, Prescottonians, and the rest of small town Americans out of our small towns which has been the crooked liberaldestruction of our once great Republic. If you don't understand yet, these two were being facetious, not "sarcastic," like they claim, but just like these two, ignorance has become more prevalent in our country in recent years. This is just another example of a way our liberal lunatics are trying to destroy our great Constitutional Republic by invading the smaller more peaceful towns promoting people stop paying attention to their lives, their communities, their local government and the people who are invading it and attempting to destroy our society by promoting more ignorant distractions that do nothing but drain your bank accounts, your attention, and your energy. Things like football or any professional sports. Movies or any other distractions that give you a false sense of fulfillment and really only steal your life and money and give it over to the machine when you could be using your resources to better your lives, your family's, and your community. Don't fall for this bullshit.
You people are full of it and probably the main reason why Prescott now looks like southern california. What are you even doing as realty people trying to dicourage people to move there. Omg AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET TO PHOENIX! Give me a break......who are you people?!
You must not have listened to the entire video. It was sarcasm! We absolutely love living here.
@@livinginprescott either way, it is way on its way to looking like southern california, which is sad. I grew up in cherry Az i went to elementary school in pV. Then my parents bouggt Peter Pan Daycare in prescott, i went jr high and high school there.
Pro beautiful sunsets over Granite Mountain just a WOW!
Couldn’t agree more also the wide open skies to star gaze. Thanks for watching!
All these things appeal to me.
Well if you do decide to consider moving this way reach out we would love to help!
Hi , loved the video. We are thinking of moving to AZ. Would be leaving TN, Jason Aldins home town. Columbia
Tennessee is a very nice place to live. We have actually had more than a few people relocate from there surprisingly. If we can help in any way let us know. Thanks for watching!
Sarcasm aside....no, dont move here. Don't come anywhere near AZ, were full and running out of water, home prices are way to high and yes even traffic is getting worse. Seriously move to new mexico if want to live in the southwest.
Are there any lakes to swim in? Water ski? Can dogs swim in local lakes?
It’s all dependent on the year. Usually Lynx and Goldwater are swimmable. I have seen dogs in both lakes before too! Thanks for watching.
LMAO - moved to PV and loving it. Btw - we used R1 as our realtor. 😊
Glad you love it here!! It’s such a great place to call home. So Many realtors at Realty One
Thanks! Good job!
Thanks!
Thanks! You talked me out of moving here
Sounds good. But hey thanks for watching
Well it USED to be a great place.
Still is
@@livinginprescott I was born here I know.
Enjoying your videos and interactions with one another, great chemistry!
Glad you enjoy it!
Thank you, for the informative video it is very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
@@livinginprescott I will be watching; your content is put together extremely well and of course it is enjoyable as well.
I live in Pres-SCOTT Valley. Love it!
It’s pretty awesome here isn’t it?
@@livinginprescott Absolutely!
“You’re driving through the neighborhood and you get one of these -“ 👋🙂
Every time! Never fails. 😂
@@livinginprescott I hope to leave Phoenix and live in Prescott soon!! I love your channel 🩷
@@Raaachyyyyy thanks so much! If we can be of help let us know.
2024 update?
We have seen a slight cool off especially on homes that were overpriced to begin with. Sellers are negotiating in most cases with all of that being said if the home is priced well, in a good location and is in good shape it will sell quickly.
elaine
Hi folks, hey we recently commented and told you what we were interested in we are open to HOA
Hi Elaine, give us a ring and we can chat some more about what would be the best fit. 928-800-4707
not in a subdivision, we'd a very open floor plan a minimum from 1 to 2 acres with trees three bedrooms we would like to raise chickens and rabbits. We have six dogs a place to park a boat garage workshop no HOA
I would highly suggest Coyote Springs, Poquito Valley, Chino Valley and Paulden for areas without the HOA and with large enough lots. If we can be of help reach out we would love to help. Thanks for watching!
@@livinginprescott can we give you folks a call
House prices seem really high. I saw a 2 bed, 1 bath for over 500k. Median pricing seems to be 700k+. Maybe it is just the current economy or the CA rush.
Or a combination of both. The pricing also depends on location. Prescott proper is always more expensive than surrounding areas.
Lol! This is perfection! And y'all are adorable 🥰
Awe thanks! Hope you guys are doing well!
I was a Northern New England resident of over 50 years and then moved here…what a blessing! I have a little Northern New England at great lengths of time….no more 7 months of winter with 30 below zero temperatures in the month of January. I like your take on our town…!!
The winters are wonderful too. You get to enjoy snow and a day or two later it’s gone. Just long enough to enjoy but not suffer through grey and ice. Thanks for watching!!
If it’s no Costco, it’s no go for me, baby. I thought people liked living in Prescott.
Definitely have a Costco! We were just having some fun. The video is full of sarcasm.
Thank you for the video. I am really liking the idea of moving there as a retired person. I proudly fly the US flag, have a Marine son who served in Iraq, and am conservative and maybe that would be a good fit for me.
Glad you enjoyed the video. It’s an amazing town and place to call home. There is always something to do, the scenery is gorgeous and we have the nicest people! If we can be of any help in the future let us know. Thanks for watching.
Also thanks to you son for his service!
AARP destroyed Prescott in the early 90s by declaring it the best place to retire in the USA.
Definitely let the cat out of the bag on how special of a place it is.
@@livinginprescott Running out of water
Home!
Don’t you just love it?
@@livinginprescott I'm from Prescott Arizona but have since moved away due to high cost of living there! I was raised there!
@@chuckhodges9227 Sorry to see you leave. Where’d you end up?
Great job!!
Thanks so much glad you liked it!
I was wondering for a second then I relapsed was hilarious. Yes we love love love Prescott valley and we have lived in many places, Hawaii, WA State, Va, CA, Fl, Texas, DC, Minn, IL, and this is the BEST by far. Everything they say is true. But do not move here as we don’t want a lot of bodies on our traffickless highways and roads. If you do come leave anything but Conservative values from where you came.
That says a lot about how amazing this place is especially with how many places you have lived! Thanks for watching.
it's a good place for the HAVES not for the have nots.
I don’t have that feeling about this place at all. There are people in all phases of life wether well off or just starting out.
So I'm told it's really windy there. Is it?
Generally speaking, yes. Springtime is the most windy time of year.
@@livinginprescott How about destructive winds?
@@georgehirvela7435 they definitely are possible especially in monsoon season. Not uncommon for a storm front to bring in 30-40mph gusts. Usually the damage we see is a few lost shingles, down trees etc.
As a close by resident,I am always wondering are these homes spoken for? I cant imagine the builder building just in hopes of selling them.
Some have sold but. It all. They are still conducting sales out of a model. In fact they are trying to offer a close to or almost finished product to entice more buyers.
Don't move to Arizona. Period. Do not move here, it has become completely overcrowded and ruined. You are not wanted here, don't come here.
Ruined? That’s a stretch. Phoenix is definitely crowded but they have the infrastructure to handle it.
@@livinginprescott How long have you lived here?
@@Chris_1129 Moved from Vegas to AZ in 1996. Moved to Prescott in 2010.
@@livinginprescott Drive through Phoenix soon, you'll see. If you haven't really been here since 2010, it will shock you. Trust me, I grew up here, Phoenix is ruined. Now Prescott is being ruined by the massive influx of California refugees. Building more junk houses isn't a good thing, some things are better left untouched and unspoiled.
Obviously it was a joke ! Come on people 😳
💯 so glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes you have to have a little fun right?
🤣 Classic. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it.
Last time I was in Prescott was when I went to Sky Y Camp in 1982.
You should come back and visit it. You probably wouldn’t even recognize it with all the growth.
Please stop moving from California! The whole state in general is getting kind of angry about it. But if you do leave the California values in California. That is the reason why the states kind of irritated with it
I do have to say, we meet many people considering a relocation from California and to this day we still haven’t met one who wants to change the politics in Az to anything like they had in Cali. Many are looking to get away from the craziness that is occurring there at least in our area. Thanks for watching!
The registration for my 2009 was like $250 I was in shock 😂
Crazy high in my opinion too. Wait a few more years. Our 2006 was only 65!
@@livinginprescott btw that was for a year geez
Im totally in agreement, please dont move here
😉
don`t watch. total waste of time.
That’s an option too. But since you did watch thanks for watching!
I liked Scottsdale
Scottsdale is nice as well. Just way hotter and too much traffic
You guys are funny. I wish i lived in Prescott. I've told you before about my past history in Prescott. I was sad when my mother, aunt and uncle sold what was left of the Dearing Ranch . It had been in the family since 1864.
I’ve been living here for seven years and I’m ready to leave. 3 good restaurants. The mall is a joke. Every store you has to order stuff and nothing is ever in stock. Oh the weather. You mean the nonstop wind that blows at all times. And customer service everywhere is a joke. Not to mention all the real estate here is absolutely overpriced. I’ve seen single wide mobile homes going for over 350k!!!! Are you kidding me!!
That’s too bad. We haven’t really experienced any of that. There are a lot of good restaurants to choose from and more opening. I feel we have been able to find everything we need locally. Kids maybe less choices than a larger city but aside from that all has been fine. Wish you the best of luck on your next chapter.
Yip i still have all my tools just sitting in my truck where i put it , just terrible 😂
Awful isn’t it?
LOVE the sarcasm! 😂
I moved to Prescott 33 years ago and Prescott and PV are completely different than when we came here... ur complaining is nuts why dont u help the traffic by moving out of here heres an idea move to crazy Ca...
didn't you watch to the very end?,,they're just kidding...relax 🤣🤣
Must not have watched till the end. It was all sarcasm. We freaking love it here! As for Cali no thanks.
