Thank you for posting. I went on a short trip with my son, and this reminds me of how great it was to be with him.

The building with the horse is the famous Caprioloa's. Beautiful saddles, bits, jewelry. But you chose to point out the horse . Should have gone inside

Pretty good video, I'm happy to see you cover the road to Tunnel Camp but one suggestion, ditch that music, it's pretty bad. Thanks

That's a pretty kool video and I'm gonna put it on my list of places to explore after the snow melts. One suggestion, I'm always curious about the roads to these places. Thanks again

Hello. I first visited Elko in December 1982. Back then, one of the railroad tracks went right through the middle of downtown. In fact, that engine-caboose combo are sitting right ON the original Right-Of-Way. In 1983, that track and the other one that ran immediately on the South side of Stockmens were moved further South away from downtown. Stockmens was located on the NORTH side of the parking lot. When I returned in 2009, it was moved to the South side of the lot. Otherwise, not a whole lot of changes.

26 miles to Lovelock. Plenty of gas there.
Can you camp at this place?
I know of no rules against it.
