Une très belle oeuvre pour le piano contemporain. Elles ne sont pas légion, et celle ci est tonale en plus ( et souvent modale ) , mais pas pour autant ennuyeuse. Tüür parle une langue profonde, proche de la nature, proche des éléments, c'est à la fois une musique étrange et intime.

Enjoyed this very much. Strangely enough, this reminds me of the sound of some of William Duckworth's "Time-Curve Preludes." I don't know why, but it does. Thanks for posting this.

J'insiste peut-être un peu trop, mais, vraiment, je trouve l'interprétation de Kristiina Rokashevitch exceptionnelle, comble d'émotions et de justesse (dans le jeu, certes, mais surtout dans l'émotion). Pour moi, elle incarne magnifiquement cette musique. Merci

Ralf Taal ei kanna siin meile ette Sumera “Pala aastast 1981”, vaid ta esitab oma arusaama inimese elust, kasutades Sumera pala. Elule panoraamse vaate andmiseks kasutab Taal aeglast tempot ja kuivalt kõlavaid helisid, just kui rõhutades iga teo olulisust elukäigus. Pala esimeses pooles ja viimases veerandis domineerib inimene (parema käega mängitu), tegutsedes algul julgelt, kindlalt ja igatsevalt, lõpus aga aru pidades ja kaheldes või isegi kõheldes. Pala kolmas veerand on muutumise päralt: domineerima hakkavad asjaolud (vasaku käega mängitu) ja miski vapustab (15 sekundi pikkune, pinget täis paus). Esitatu olulisust rõhutavad pianisti jahe ja ligipääsmatu olek ning range ja ülipidulik kostüüm, lisaks väärikas ning pianisti esile tõstev lava- ja saalikujundus. Pildirida toetab esitust (ega ole lihtsaks sündmuse toimumisest teavitajaks). Kaamerate sättija ja pildirea monteerija nimi vajanuks mainimist.
