  Ireland's an island nation with urbanised coasts, agricultural or marshy inlands and practically no rough terrain so having tanks makes zero sense - Ireland needs way more vessels, aircraft and potentially submarines

  I'm a Frenchman and I was in Dublin in 2016 to celebrate the centenary of the 1916 Easter rising with my Irish friends ; a great parade, a beautiful army ; I love that country so much and I'm so proud to have attended this anniversary ; during these days in Dublin, my heart was Irish !!!

  I lived here in 1999 for 6 months on the newly built Pines estate before I brought my love back to England. This drive brought back so many beautiful memories of that time. Alas Mary died suddenly in 2005 and since Ihave never had the emotional courage to return.
