Making great cocktails at home for amateurs, enthusiasts and everyone in between.
I'm a home bartending enthusiast, but I've never worked in a bar. My focus is usually on how to make great drinks at home. This includes classics, forgotten drinks, modern drinks and occasionally some originals. I also do episodes on how to make some DIY syrups, liqueurs, punches, etc, in a segment called Booze in the Kitchen. I have another sub-set series that focuses on how to drink like James Bond called Cocktails and Pussy Galore. The Bond series focuses on the drinks described in the pages of the 007 books by Ian Fleming. Most of the drinks were Bond's favorites and where applicable, I used the bottles he used, but there were some drinks imbibed by Bond Girls, Bond Villains and Bond Allies as well. There are also a couple episodes about drinks that are similar to ones Bond had or were inspired by Bond.

Mr Distinguished, I just wanted to say I have been a big fan of your channel for a while, it's my go to for drinks. And I tried this for the first time with a simple and honest appleton 8 and god damn it it is one of my favorite drinks, had a few since then. This should become world famous, it's that good. Hope you come back and give us some more recipes.
What is the background music
Serious question...not a criticism. Why does aging in the barrel longer than 30 days "go overboard on the oaky-ness"? Wasn't the original Wray and Nephew aged for 17 years in oak barrels? Why wasn't 17 years too long? Why didn't that lead to too much oaky-ness?
What temperature and humidity should I keep the barrel during aging process?
I’m psyched to see this! Also please come back with some new cocktail videos! I pretty much started out getting into tiki watching your videos and trying the recipes
Still the best Vesper video in 2024!
Good to hear from you again!
a lot of shit, gave u a thumbs down ok
My favorite cocktail channel! Cheers!
This, and a pack of Red Apple please.
Please come back
Interesting drink, although Bond was drinking the standard Canadian Club blended. Which is actually a nice, light highball with soda. Especially in that humidity. You wouldn’t want the smoke influence from a blended Scotch in the Caribbean
I got this in a quiz show was recommended to try by the host. I was told it had lemonade in it.
Mr. Distinguished - mystery provider of mesmerizing videos, that made me make so many tasty drinks and homemade mixers. Thanks and so glad to see you post a video!
Why are you trying so hard to sound cool
Cocchi Americano is a great ingredient. Couldn't help but notice that this recipe is halved on the ingredients. lol
1:10 is False Idol in DT San Diego. Beautiful spot and great drinks! Highly recommend.
Excellent video! Thank you for showing us how to make the original Zombie!
Welcome back!
miss your content , come back.
Jesus Christ the doc looks freakin' brilliant!!! It's frustrating to know so much shitty content is now available, but the real gems struggle to come out. Today most distributors are total wusses. Hope this will be viewed by the right people and I'm sure it will be picked up. It's too good not to be. Wish you good luck with the festivals! I can't wait to see it!
I love it❤❤❤
Amei❤❤❤❤
Looks like a great documentary
This was the best cocktail channel. Please come back!
Yay!!! Distinguished Spirits we missed you!!
Nice, hopefully it'll be available later online. By the way, how about doing a short sometime with your recipe for the cosmopolitan? :D
😮😮😮 been a long ⌛️ time?????!!!!!!!
Aloha from Sweden! I have been missing you. This is my top favorite KZread channel.
Welcome back, sir. And cheers!
HE LIVES!
Please make this film also available for non US based tiki lovers, like myself. Can't wait to see it.
The film is not distributed yet. But fingers crossed it will be sooner rather than later. And at that time, hopefully it will be available everywhere. These film festival screenings are kinda like test screenings. Not an official release. Where are you based, out of curiosity?
@DistinguishedSpirits Europe, specifically, the country that invented the bicycle. In addition, long-time DistinguishedSpirits subscriber/fan and rum lover. I was super thrilled when you announced the film. I will wait for it. Maybe it will be released online, e.g., streaming. Best Regards
@@Xarthas haha. Isn’t the invention of the bicycle hotly debated? But I’m guessing you’re in Germany.
Every time I drove past Hala Kahiki Lounge just outside of Chicago, I thought of this channel.
Hopefully you thought something similar at Three Dots and a Dash. 😆 Cheers! Glad to hear it.
Does this mean we might start getting drink recipes again? I hope so!!!
Sorry. I’m not sure why, but the comments were automatically turned off. It looks like it’s fixed now.
Great to hear from you!
I just started drinking cocktails and this is unbelievable: one of the best ive ever had; people think i am crazy!
Miss your videos.
Miss ya man
2024 come back distinguished spirits
Love this one, and all your videos! I hope you're doing well. I revisit your tiki videos every year around summer. Thanks for making them and I hope you never delete them!
My wife loves this drink because she loves aperol spritz and i absolutely hate it because i don't like Campari or bitter flavors at all.
Campari and Aperol are really sweet. It’s just so hard to tell because it’s so intensely bitter.
@@DistinguishedSpirits I'm not about to take a shot of them to test your theory 🤮
@@Edward135i 😂
I did this with plain water instead of gin, it's the best lemonade I've drank.
