So let's chat about those spinner brushes. The light show is cool and all - colorful foam, too - but those spinning microfiber cleaners pick up dirt from every car they touch. That dirt remains in the brushes. When you pull into that stall for your carwash, it would be completely unreasonable to believe thst you'll pull out from that wash bay without a single scratch. Frankly, I'm surprised something called an "IQ wash" has brushes at all. I would have thought brushless altogether would be more fitting to the name "IQ wash". Ah well. Edit: I stand corrected. There is a touchless version.
Actually, the brushes are made of special material known in the industry as "closed-cell foam". Instead of hanging on to the dirt they clean from each vehicle, these brushes are designed to repel dirt and contaminants, preserving both the integrity of the vehicle's exterior as well as the wash brush itself. The brushes are also designed in this way to prevent scratching, as fewer contaminants in the brushes naturally leads to a more effective clean and post-wash appearance. And of course, there's always the IQ Touch-Free for those who simply wish to wash touchless :)

Is it not recommended to use different star foam colors for the IQ soft touch? If a future wash owner were to buy your IQ soft touch, wouldn't they want the star foam material custom colored to match their wash's awning instead of making it seem misplacing by using only blue and green? (assuming they were to have a red/yellow building scheme)
I believe they do offer all colors on their brush material.

This is awesome!! I’ve met a owner of an IQ (at Thunder Wash in Saratoga Springs) and I’m NEVER going to go with ANY other car wash. These things are awesome, I hear they are extremely reliable too! I’m planning to have 2 IQ soft touches and 2 IQ touch frees. Very informative and entertaining video!

Honestly, those side brushers remind me of the Ryko Voyager/Premiere/Premiere Plus side brushes but look more improved.
Whats the difference between iq soft touch and 2.0 soft touch
The 2.0 is the optimized version of the IQ "1.0". While the IQ 1.0 is an incredible machine, there's always room for what we do best - innovation. Enter the 2.0 - which takes the technology of the 1.0 and optimizes it to the max :)
