American here, Seeing Far Caspian live at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura in northern Portugal in 2022 was an unforgettable experience. The band delivered an electrifying performance that left the audience awestruck. The atmosphere was charged with energy as the crowd eagerly awaited the band to take the stage. From the moment Far Caspian started playing, it was clear that their music translated exceptionally well into a live setting. Their sound was rich, full, and vibrant, with each note resonating beautifully throughout the venue. The band's energy was infectious, and it was impossible not to get swept up in the excitement. One of the most impressive aspects of the concert was the band's ability to connect with the audience. They interacted with the crowd throughout the show, sharing stories and anecdotes between songs. This made the concert feel more intimate and personal, despite the large size of the venue. The setlist was fantastic, featuring a mix of old favorites and new material. The band played each song with passion and precision, delivering a performance that was both polished and raw. The audience sang along to every word, creating a powerful sense of unity and camaraderie. Overall, seeing Far Caspian live at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura was an incredible experience. The band's performance was nothing short of spectacular, and it was clear that they are truly masters of their craft. If you ever have the chance to see them live, don't hesitate - it's an experience you won't forget.

The art world I used to love as a life, which evades as it always has, like a silver fish in the carpet. I live in that heart, but the darkness is always around holding me captive. I can never find how to get out of that obsessive darkness as a form of boa constrictor and closed door that, inherently manufactures around me systems which imprison rather than systems of growth. Like a prison in Paris.

lets be real, the first song was legit. i dunno what to appreciate, the bass line is simple but fkn catchy, the drums are dirty but clean, the synth following bassline and THE VOCALS melody, everythings *fire emoji.

SC is wrapping a Europe tour right now. But just now an online music site - “post-punk” and the usual (as in dot plus the short version for company)- posted a late May interview with Tessa and Greg. The interviewer rightly says Greg show more chops and swagger with the new “Dream Talk” release. It’s well with any fans time. They listen to movie soundtracks and dish on their favorite karaoke songs in it. As well as the expected behind the scenes stories, and this post-pandemic release…meaning freedom to travel!

Seeing all these comments of people who discovered them in a difficult part of their lives - I hope you're all doing wonderful. While things might seem dark and suffocating, I promise it's temporary. there's always a lighter end to a dark start, and I hope it comes soon for you. I'm proud of how far every one of you has come, and I know younger you would be as well.

I remember exactly how I found this band. Back in like 2019, I went to a coding bootcamp in Brooklyn. There was a girl there who actually looked kinda like a shorter version of Maria, and we were exchanging music recs. She told me about them, and I liked it, but didn’t become a super fan till maybe 2 years later, when they came back up on shuffle in a massive Spotify playlist of mine. Decided to deep dive into their albums upon re-listening and have not looked back.
