  I bought a ticket to that Mardi Gras and flew over rom NZ because Olivia Newton-John was the headline act. Michael was not wrong when he said the roar of the crowd when she came 0on stage was phenomenal - the most insane crowd Olivias probably ever performed to. It was absolutely electric. I got a place at the front of the stage 2 hours before she came on and had friends grab me drinks so I wouldn't lose my spot. Im so glad io took that trip - it was ultra cool to see her perform for a club crowd and you could tell she was enjoying it

  I’m a professional musician and performing live is probably my least favorite thing just because of the amount of energy/prep it takes + I get incredibly anxious. I just love how Jonah said it’s essentially a celebration of music. I’ll remember that next time I’m on stage. ❤ Saw them live in Montréal too and OMG it was an outstanding experience that I’ll never forget. I felt every note and the passion poured into their music by every band member was just beautiful. The quality was so incredible I thought I died and was in music heaven lol going back to reality was brutal to say the least hahaha

  Amazing. I am a huge fan. First time I saw him live, he opened for Jack Johnson. After Jack Johnson played and we were leaving the venue heading for the car, most people were still buzzing and talking about Xavier Rudd. I became a huge fan that very night.

  Really nice interview and good questions - I agree on the phone thing. I rarely take out my phone at concerts because I want to be present instead. And as a musician with a very broad taste myself it's so nice to hear Dirty Loops blend of genres both classical, jazz, rock, pop, funk etc.
