Very dirty machine. Filters clogged and left streaks on the carpet. Had to clean the machine so I could use it. AVOID

I hired rug dr. What a waste of time and money. Took carpet 48hrs to dry due to not sucking water out of carpet. Carpets look worse after using rug dr

Ive hired one of these today in UK from Homebase. Its soooo loud! Sounds like a pneumatic drill! I phoned up the helpline but they told me that's how it's supposed to sound? I dont think im going to be very popular with my neighbours downstairs... Carpet also quite wet, going to try the second pass technique thanks.

Do you guys sell replacement upholstery tools and hoses? I had one of these but the upholstery tool broke and I could never find a replacement that matched or worked with this type of machine.

Fellow thrifters : ) Got one & it dont spray? Odds are the water build up/solution residue is simply dried on after sitting. Look on the handle by the trigger where it sprays out. Use your nail side to side & if that dont work maybe your clog is worse then mine & requires a spray/bristles to scrub clean it.

Actually the machine and the video are really good. If you follow the step by step there’s no way to get it wrong. Everything was simple and easy and the result was pretty good

Rug Doctor execs insult consumers with this video! Acting like we are completely inept, are you pulling the trigger for spray? is there water in the tank? is the hose hooked up correctly? Asshats, it's not an operator issue! My freakin tool on my 700 dollar machine is not working, now...how do I fix it? It should probably be on recall, this is only the 2nd time i've ever used the damn thing.!!

Worse than useless video, the dirty water needs to go down the toilet not the sink. You also need to clean all the fluff from the brush’s etc under the machine, not just wipe the top,

This is a terrible video and I learned nothing. I just wanted to know what kind of water I need to put in it. It says only luke-warm water for wool but what about everything else?? Cold, hot or boiling? Cleaning council-provided temporary accommodation is hard.
