@@deplone_ awesome! im looking to get in to body kit production and i only have very little experience with inventor some 10 years ago.. so looking to buy a 3d scanner to scan cars and a program to design the body kits and another one to make the file something a 3d printer can understand.. got any suggestions what software to get?

Most 3D softwares can export printable files. Depends how you handle geometry of the objects, there are some important guidelines i.e. that the mesh has to be closed etc. Easy to find it online. Blender should do the trick + it's free, 3DS max maybe. Autedesk fusion 360 probably too, but I've never used it. Good luck though, very cool idea 😌
