  Are you still active? I bought my first one today which came with a pro find 15 for £229. Didn’t check how old it was or the price but I hope it’s worth the money! Did yours lay for itself in these 3 years? Any further comments for me as someone who’s going to receive one tomorrow?

  I had the go find 60 , unfortunately it got stolen 😢 but I found some great things , lots of coins and a nice ring on the beach and woodlands , I loved how portable & easy to use it was, wanna get back into it soon so researching new detectors.

  Thanks, I have recently bought a Fisher F5 .. only used in the garden so far.. I used to detect back in the 1980s .. I'm not used to all the visual stuff .. Was just headphones or mainly sound in my day 👍😀

  That's the best way to detect in my opinion. I use my ears then check the numbers once I hear a good ping. Best of luck to you 👍🏻

  That's a tough one, all very capable machines. If I had to pick it would either be the simplex or the vanquish. But to be fair, they are all good starter machines. Thanks for stopping by.

  Hello I had one as my first detector. It is what it is. Simple detecting. It was fun on the dry sand at the beach but it there was a lot of trash it was noisy. Good portability and a choice for someone who wants to do basic detecting.

  @@magpie73 that really truly does help and that’s a shame it really is why on earth would they choose all the audio to be transmitted via the phone except the pinpoint function I mean it truly defeats the purpose of even wearing headphones at all and it would truly be the most affordable complete wireless detecting experience and I would gave it a 10/10 other then that I do like it

  Me and my son have the go find 60 great for beach hunting we found £7 and a silver ring on the weekend over the moon Great not the best on wet sand but will still work on the wet just nock the sensitivity down a notch. 👍

  I am considering the 66 and the 340 no iq tech on the 66 but the pinpointer and the depth of 8 in or so on coins and Bluetooth I'm sold plus you can get the pinpointer and machine for 199 same price as the 340 I like a having a machine that leaves no guess work on location

  I have not used the 340 but I do know they are good. The 66 is great for the price but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Best of luck with your choice 👍🏻

  Like the way the 66 is so compact and comes in a carry bag. Pity Minelab don't have bags or even hard cases for their other models. Looks a great little unit
