Thanks nice video as always quick question if I was designing a finger pull for a drawer how would you make those circles on the inside of the main part hope I explained it correctly of what I'm thinking.
Thanks for the comment, I have read your comments over and over and I’m trying to figure out what a finger pull is. Do you have an example to see?
I always like your playing and singing. Thanks for the concert!
Thank you very much!
lol old man
Getting old sucks. I think my diode laser messed my eye sight up to be honest or I can go by the doctors saying I’m older now
You're so talented! ❤❤❤
Thanks
Awesome!!👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi, thanks for the video. can I change the depth of the cavities?
Yes you can! Click the area you want to change and then when the box pops up on the right side, select the tab that says cut and then you can change the depth in that area. It says simple as that.
@@ThatWoodenFlag Thanks!!
Beautiful work. Do you sell that file?
Feel free to message me on Etsy.com/shop/thatwoodenflag
Hi Mike Thanks Man You’re a Great Teacher and All of us could learn so much from You!!!
You’re welcome
Why use the 45⁰ travel?
I get better results doing it that way. Could just be preference but a friend showed me this years ago and I’ve always done it that way ever since.
thanks, this is a great starting point
It does not seem like you can make any complicated inlays with this software. If it has any small details as part of the plug it does not seem to allow the 1/2 depth of the wood to stay in tact and just insert the plug. I have been looking at doing some inlays here lately and have not seen anyone that is doing any type of real complicated inlays like you can find on other software.
Should be able to do complicated ones with a vbit
STARS - haven't had an opportunity to do inlays yet on my machine but I'm sure glad I saw this video first I look forward to trying it and those sound like interesting bits.
Thanks for watching.
The water marks are to keep people from stealing them, lol!
Thanks and all this time I thought it meant someone spilled water on it. Lol
Thanks for the tips, it is very much appreciated. How would you go about cutting out the bass around the edges?
If I wanted to cut the bass out to its shape, I would use the off setter app and create an outline at about .25 inches that should create a nice boundary around it. Then you can just tell that boundary to cut to full depth with whatever bit you wanted to use most likely a 1/8 inch end mill.
@@ThatWoodenFlag Man, thank you so much for your help. It's very much appreciated.
Used it for circle cutting by pinning the middle of the work piece into the table and rotating it. Circle was bigger than the work area. Dude, please dont use gloves when operating a rotary tool - this is how you lose fingers.
Thanks for the tip. Now that you say it yes that could have been bad.
I like it, more like a scroll saw. When I saw band saw I was wondering how I can use my CnC to resaw a 8/4 walnut board!
Yes I use mine from time to time as mill, instead of the gcode I control it manually. But never use it like you did, nice trick!
Yes, I have used a router table before.
yes it would be the same concept, i was just board.
If you don't have a normal scroll saw, now you have one with a little wider kerf.
Yes that’s true. It really worked great.
Thinking outside of the box! :) Like it!
It worked great too. I’m going to put a 1/4 router bit with the guide bearing and mass produce them. I think it will work perfect.
Love the flag I'm half Italian and American great job .
Thanks a lot.
What model onefinity is this? More importantly, what is the cutting area on that machine... 32" x 32"?
Thank you for the comment that machine the Onefinity Woodworker. 32 by 32 cut area and it’s still amazing after 4 years
@ThatWoodenFlag thanks for the quick response! Nice to know it's held up over the years. I wasn't sure if 32" was enough for a guitar neck but looks like you pulled it off. Lookin like I'll buy from this manufacturer. Thanks again earned a sub 🍻
Thanks alot for the follow. They make a larger one as well and the new version is called the elite forman which is 4 by 4
Wonderful idea! Where did you obtain the file? Would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks
I made it. I haven’t loaded it on my Etsy store. Do you want me to load the file onto it?

Message me on my Etsy and I can do a custom order for you and send you the file that way.
Good video, I have been contemplating buying one of these bits as Im starting to get a lot of work engraving mirrors and I usually use a laser but it does take a long time. How long did it take to engrave the acrylic as I noticed you increased the feed rate a couple of times? What feed rate did you use? I have a 120 x 220 cms mirror to engrave at the moment but the laser sys it will take 196 hours. Would you recommend using a drag bit instead? Thanks for your time.
I would say it really depends on your machine. Yes it should be much faster
Did you ever get the bit?
Still waiting for it to arrive.@@ThatWoodenFlag
Where did you buy the bit?
here in Mexico, Guadalajara. Its a 90° Spring loaded 6.35 mm Shank. Greetings. Arrived last Thursday, havent had time to use it yet, fixing an iMac for a friend, will let you know how it comes out.@@ThatWoodenFlag
Thanks for posting this video. I was frustrated trying to figure it out.
Glad I could help
Top video thanks for the free file new subscriber
You are very welcome. I have a few others out there with free files as well.
@@ThatWoodenFlag yes I seen them it’s very kind of you to give them away.
I also create u pique easel links for customers and add files for them. Visit my Etsy store. www.etsy.com/shop/thatwoodenflag
Awesome instructions You’re definitely one of My Favorite Teachers I Appreciate You !!
Thanks for the kinds words. Let me know if there is anything in particular you want to know about and I’ll do my best to make something.
BULLSHIT. This is subscibtion model software only! Boycote all subscribtion software. Hobbysts that sometimes are not using any CAD/CAM software for months are forces to keep paying anyway. This is just shitty money pulling, nothing else.
I don’t pay for easel. I use it to design things and give people help. I have the version where I get 4 free days a month to create gcode. Other than this I use, aspire, Inkscape and light burn.
I think you typed two zeros by mistake
Lol
I would probably charge 50 for something like that. This was a gift so I’m really out 12 bucks lol
Make a wavy 3D flag in Easel.
You can only important them in easel. I tried to do a video and share a free file but easel won’t let me share the link like some other videos.
You can always visit my Etsy store at www.etsy.com/shop/thatwoodenflag
Hello Michael,Dave I got that free fire flag from you. How's your cold coming along..My request is did you make a video on Tiling in Easel...BTW, Happy New Year...Also what's the best way to resize that fire flag to fit my work space, 16" x 16'...Thanks buddy
Feeling great.
Change the dimensions of the workspace to 8.5 by 16 in easel and then out a rectangle around the flag that’s the size it is now then highlight the entire flag and resize it at once to 8.5 by 16
Okay I'll give it a try thanks for the info have a blessed night
How did it work out for you?
@@ThatWoodenFlag The first flag was a mess(pic sent ).Just finished my second one, came out great..BTW I just did the Smith raise text sign.I was able to make the S behind the name, but it show on the preview but did not carve the S...any thoughts...Thanks
Fantastic love it!!!
Thanks
A 3/8's bit fits in a Makita? How did you do that?
The collet of the bit is 1/4 and the bits cutting diameter is 3/8
@@ThatWoodenFlag Thx for that. The shank and the collet must be 1/4" but with a 3/8 cutting diameter. That was confusing.
Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepalestine

What’s that mean
I feel bad for the tree that got chopped into this piece of crap.
I’m glad you love it
@@ThatWoodenFlag I honestly really love the way you made the flag. You have really great talent for making flag posters. I just hate to see such talent on these flags. Didn't mean that personally.
THERE IS NO ISRAEL 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️😡😡😡😡
Thanks for the comment
That looks lovely! Is that made of wood? How did you shade it to make it look wavey?
The wavy look is carved with an angle grinder then I painted it white then I taped it and use a razor blade to shape then I painted blue.
@@ThatWoodenFlag it ended up beautiful!
Thanks. The rest of the comments are all hatred so thanks for the appreciation of art
@@ThatWoodenFlagi know, and I have a feeling your video has been recommended to me for the same reason they make hate comments Currently Israel is in the middle of a war against an organisation called "Hamas". And they probably assume you making the Israeli flag is taking a stance about the war
