  I think there are 2 kinds of "beginner" motorcycle riders: 1. Has never EVER ridden a motorcycle. 2. Grew up as a kid riding minibikes and dirt bikes....but has yet to ride a full size motorcycle on the street. (me 15 yrs ago)

  Honestly, fz-07 is and amazing beginner bike. Plenty of power to do anything you want but not to much you feel like it will kill you. I loved it. Granted love my fz09 even more. But I so glad I started on a 700

  Man I have an fz09 and honestly it's not a sketchy bike. Yes learn throttle control but that's all you have to do for it to be a perfectly safe bike.

  See this is why "respecting the throttle" is just not enough. Accidents happen and you have to be ready for it. You hit a pothole and you accidentally wheelie, you accidentally pull in the clutch for no reason on a turn and let go, you add more throttle leaning right, there's just a lot of beginner mistakes we do and its okay coz we're learning. So why the hell would people start on 900cc ? It just makes progress slower. Glad the video was honest.

  Realistically you have to work with what you have and see it for what it is. That being said you manage your throttle accordingly. Stop comparing it to an ICE motorcycle.

  One thing that Victory did on their demo bikes was to put their Stage 1 exhaust/intake/fuel map on a few of them. Thus the Gunner might sound (and even run better) than the Hammer because of that, if installed. I would not be surprised if that particular Gunner had the Stage 1 setup....it might have been listed on the tank sticker.

  Ha! Glad to see another CT road ripper on here. There is nothing quite like disappearing into the "Northwest Track" as I call it in the hills, especially in the fall. My buddy and I took our wives for a 3 hour rip in our C5 Corvettes which extended in time because we stopped for lunch, but we had so much fun that my brakes faded a few times and our wives have refused to go with us next year. Stay safe out there on those two wheels.

  I know this is an older video. But bummer, the title says fully modded. mmm you have probably 5 mods all bolt-on and one you talked about a lot was a sticker on the wheel and mirrors. It's not fully modded. SAS system, air filter, stacks, any bodywork, suspension, brakes, clutch slave, clutch brace, samco, lighter bolts, lighter wheels, and I could go on and on.
