Interesting how European Jews stopped pronouncing the Hebrew word for Jew correctly. Don’t get me wrong, dropping a medial “h” between two vowels is common in all languages. But kinda funny that the Arabic word for Jew (Yahud) is closer to the Hebrew pronunciation than the Yiddish pronunciation.
