  There is no other place that comes even close to making tortilla that is as good as what comes from Nestor's. You must get there early enough to reserve a piece since only one is made for the day. The people there are also special.

  Yo he probado la tortilla en ese bar. Está cruda por dentro y quemada por fuera. Es muy difícil que la tortilla se haga por dentro sin quemarse por fuera. Yo tardo una hora en total.

  @@queldarva9508 no...sones tortilla española tal como indica el nombre...no puede NO llevar cebolla. Si es sin cebolla no es tortilla española, es tortilla de patatas Osea....una citre tortilla francesa rellena de patatas.. Pon en internet.... Receta tortilla española. Y te saldrá si o si con cebolla. Estas modas sobre todo entre la gente joven de....w aque no me gusta la Cebolla. Es para responderles.... Es que no sabes comer. Punto. Es más...una tortilla española gracias a la cebolla, de un día para otro sige jugosa y se puede comer. Son cebolla es cono comer aroma encima de una piedra.

  (Text copied from BBC, Remarkable places to eat) "best tortilla in the world". His cooking method is just as unusual as his booking system - he cooks sliced potatoes, onions and a single sliced green pepper in sunflower oil, before adding the hot veg to his beaten eggs. These then go back into a hot pan to be cooked for around a minute before being flipped over for another minute of cooking. The result is a stunning tortilla with a softly runny centre, served with crusty local bread, yours for just two euros a slice. - Interesting is that he cooks in sunflower seed oil and explains in the BBC programme that olive oil has too much flavour and overpowers the potato taste.

  fer pt isn’t olive oil to strong in taste to make the tortilla??? Above someone said it was sunflower oil.
