  I'm no gunsmith but I don't see how a mag problem could cause a flash like that. I would have guessed barrel obstruction or maaaybe a super hot load. Edit: Maybe I misunderstood the caption idk.

  SMH, 12yrs I was shouldering and leaning into the weapon properly. Learning how to shoot and move clearing malfunctions with missing fingers drill. The least you could do is teach the boy how to shoot a firearm properly.
