Br4vado

I play mostly hard-core MMOs and Surival games. I make the occasional off topic video that I find interesting or might find fun to share, like a free to play game I find, or a topic i just find fun or valuable. This is more than just a theme or a brand. It is me and my channel. Hope you enjoy!

    Man, that was surprisingly wholesome. From helping out a guy who was killed by them, finding another person willing to go for the cause, to almost sinking a dude, just to save his ship for him. There was a whole story here.

    Do people sometimes pick Human solely for the profession and action point bonuses? I feel like Humans get to dip into a lot more stuff

  • @Br4vado
    @Br4vadoКүн бұрын

    Ya mostly but if ur looking for a specific craft like extraction u may want to go with oghmir since they have bonuses directly related to that, or alvarian for alchemy and harvesting. Humans do allow u to "do more" their extra attribute points give more bonus points toward a skill their for saving u few In the gran scheme of things its roughly like 1 or 200 points saved pending on your build Roughly so could.be slightly more or less, but they also have reading bonus clade, and clades that will give u an extra 50 points to action tree, as well as bonus lore skills, and some magic clades

    I want to know. Is it profitable to buy steel from broker and sell swords?

  • @Br4vado
    @Br4vadoАй бұрын

    Thats a matter of doing math. A stack of steel is generally around 300-600gold A standard 2h khurite steel greatblade price goes up and down (player market pending). If you mass produce and flood the market from town to town then essentially you could push the other competition out and control that standard market price. Now you have to figure out how many swords can u make with a stack of steel and at what price are they selling for. I would think that you could but if sword prices plummet or steel prices rise then idk. Another thing you could look at is how much steel is selling for from town to town and how much people are selling swords for from town to town and try to min max your profits if you can safely transport and take the risk. My guild might be able to sell a stack id have to ask. Also you could join my guild haha 😄

    any tips for fishermen and trying to make gold? seems like the only thing that sells for me is calxfish Also as far as bounty hunting goes, i got close as 450m from my target according to the bird but never found them. Is there a place to buy the seeker bird again?

  • @Br4vado
    @Br4vadoАй бұрын

    I have no idea why this comment got missed. U just go back to the pub in any town and buy them again. And as far as fishing if u want to make big money u gotta have butchering to go with it for meat and scales. If you dont have the points u can do what i do and just target fish people buy on the broker. Clax fish, ventriouses (prolly spelled that wrong), blood kua, skull kua, turtles, blue sorex, thassal snake, kelp dragon. Im sure there is more i havent named

  • @AmishMinister
    @AmishMinisterАй бұрын

    @@Br4vado Maybe some tips for the task's the local taskmaster gives, and showing the location of them? popular fishing spots and their max depth and type of fish that can be caught would be nice, but that's quite a bit of work. Cristula, LTS (very important as i've noticed lots of new fishermen struggling with this snake) or any other of the starting fish. Then i'd move onto turtles, rays and skullkuas as many of the things you catch in the lower weight/hook catagory can be used as bait for the bigger ones. Can you begin building the house with just wood or minimal amounts of stone and metal? As a solo moving lots of materials would be difficult and giving it some fast hp and then collecting resources near you seem safest

  • @Br4vado
    @Br4vado2 ай бұрын

    Yes, and beyond that, you can intentionally prevent yourself from finishing some buildings which will leave you with an unwalled 2nd floor to shoot arrows from or cast magic from with relative safety. StarVault should add sone npc where you can buy an ingame guide-book with detailed quantity and appliance needed for each materials, like a "noah's book" you mentioned, where they explain everything. And not only for refining but also for alchemy. It's not possible that all knowledge must be in the hand of veterans. This is already a super hard to understand game, if you give NO quality of life items it's a labirinth of knowledge and whispers... Damn SV wtf are you doing?

  • @Br4vado
    @Br4vado2 ай бұрын

    Well i think that is sort of the point. Think about it, the game is practically a second life, a job, a profession that takes time to learn and master. Granted no game should be like that but i can see that the character and now characters you build are who YOU are and only u can learn to achieve the things you want. The vets from mo1 had to learn all this information thats out there through time and patience... and in less than honorable ways. But its what drove them to do the work. They need to reinvent the tutorial not the entire game. Text box on text box no one is going to read once or twice theres just too much. They need to voice over and simplify all that text and teach u real starter recipies kind of like what im doing here. Ive had in mind for awhile to do my own sort of tutorial where i walk through the entire tutorial and give my thoughts along the way

  • @ElderSwamp
    @ElderSwamp2 ай бұрын

    @@Br4vado yeah, you right i meaned some starter recipes , not all the advanced stuff. Because when a new player meet the "crusher" he think: ok.. what Is that? 😂 The fact that EVERYTHING Is fantasy, from flowers names to trees to ores etc.. that's s the real hard thing. Because if i had to choose to craft a bronze sword It Will be clear that It Will have less damage and durability than an iron sword, etc.. for steel swords etc.. But in MO2 there is no bronze, iron etc... all Is "Granum, cuprum,tephra, calx" etc.. so there is no possible thoughtfull or Logic process that the brain of the newbie can do to understand all of that. Same for Woods. I Will surely choose olive-tree branches over maple for create a bow because i know that olive wood Is more flaxible than maple.. but here there is no maple, no pines, no olives.. all have fantasy names and It Is impossible to follow a logic in all of that. 😬😬😬
