Hi. Do you know how to re-sync the remote key fob? I've tried new batteries etc but still remote not working. Thanks
@mentalmininguk8 ай бұрын
Hia buddy, I've never had to do that myself, but from a quick look online, this is what I've found New remotes can not be programmed without the use of special hardware, but existing remotes can be synchronised as follows: 1. Switch on the ignition 2. Press the lock or unlock button and hold for 10 seconds. Do this on all remotes to synchronise them. If it is a new fob, apparently, you would need a four digit security key code to be able to programme a new fob using a diagnostic machine with that function ideally ot would be cheaper to source a local auto lock Smith to do the job for you. Sorry, I am not much of a help. I hope you are able to get it sorted without costing too much 👍

It can be fidley to get it to clip back on. Just try to be gentle with it. Make sure it's located right and push it down firmly, and it should clip itself back on. Sorry if I haven't explained it very well, as it's hard to describe the concept. I hope you can succeed with your repair.👍

@mentalmininguk Жыл бұрын
Yes no problem buddy. I had exactly the same issues I couldn't find any information for that card online so I made a video to hopefully help others. I have done a screen shot layout at the end of the video showing all the different sizes of pads. I have put in my description the links to amazon for the mx4 thermal compound grease and pads I used. I would have liked to have used better quality pads but the cost of all the different sizes needed would add up a to lot. I decided to go for the amazon pack as it has a variety of sizes and I still have loads left to do other gpu's if you have more. The only issue I had was there was one pad I needed a thicker pad that I didn't have. I was able to double a pad up not ideal I know but it works with no issues for me. Hope this helps you out. 👍

Solar is defiantly a good idea man just calculate the Watts you use on the rig per hour x24 and add that up and Get some panels and focus on a good battery storage if you can build a rig you can build your own solar set up too! And I'm mining some Neta at the moment and focusing heavy on getting the last month of mining ETH in

Thanks buddy thats a good way of working it out. I have something in mind but not sure if it will do the job, but im hoping it would offset some of my power costs. As that would be my main aim. I've not tried Neta yet looks a cool project. Ill have to look into it some more I think the main issue's we all will be facing with etc is Asics will dominate the hash power leaving us gpu miners with very little rewards. Im hoping ergo does well but being on so few exchanges is holding it back. I like flux and rvn but there a very power hungry algo. Hopefully they will be able to move over or something. To help reduce the power consumption. Hey only time will tell. It will most probably be a bit of a wild ride after ethereum finishes. With what will be the next profitable coin lol. Hang tight well see it through buddy. 👍
