  All of these options require turning on the phone in speaker mode. Will be awkward to do this outside when you want to record a call.

  If you don’t have the three dots click on playlist and click this one button that’s like a square with two triangles on the bottom and un save the playlist

  I found the same thing, even 1.5ft was a little close, making it sound boomy. You really need to give the sound a chance to develop in the air. I also was surprised at the difference between those two LDCs!
