  Honestly I don't agree with Larian here, obsession is NOT love. What ascended Astarion feels towards Tav is riddled with insecurity and anxiety and in the long run can never last unless Tav is ready to humiliate themself. That has nothing to do with love. And didnt they also say that AA is his bad ending? I mean, AA is traumatised Astarion who refused to face his trauma and gives in to the insecurity and need of control.

  You say that like it's only Larian's opinion, but there's a whole genre of obsessive lovers. like for drow obsession is the ultimate expression of love. My opinion: obsession is love. because love has many different forms. love isn't always healthy, but it's still love.

  @@seraph_tenshisub iconoclast, if you're fanatic you don't need kill officers, you can tell "I can't kill them, so you can kill me for that" Something like that. It's show him you ready to die for him. So it's rly not dominant move and I believe it's for Iconoclast sub RT.

  @@seraph_tenshi It's available to everyone. I just think it's written for sub RTs. That the writer took it into consideration that way. Just like Marazhai is mentioned everywhere as "pet" in heresy path, but that can't be because I'm playing with dom Marazhai. Like, he calls my RT a pet. I described it in a comment below. The point is, saying "I will sacrifice myself for you" is not a dominant action, quite the opposite. Like, you can play it however you want, but the writing might make something look illogical. Just like in the heretic ending when Marazhai is referred to as "pet that comes" even though he's a dom.

  I may be wrong, but I have a belief: iconoclast = mara dom cuz only iconoclast has a special answer in the final quest. and it only looks good if mara dom. as the special phrase demonstrates total submission. heretic = mara sub cuz he appears everywhere as a "pet" even in the epilogue slide. dogmatist = no mara cuz xenos must die. And the game just ignores you if you're a centrist. I think that's what the writer intended. Anyway, there's another hunter on my ship.

  я тоже удивилась, мне @teteiyus5762 сказала <3 но я всё равно буду ждать длс. мне ломово проходить всё ради баланс патча. с другой стороны в патч ноте вообще нет инфы о доп озвучке??? или я что-то пропустила.

  ​@@nyloth в патчноуте есть информация о новых звуковых эффектах и мелких исправлениях в уже записанных репликах, но о новой озвучке я ничего не вижу. Значит, можно надеяться, что и дальше добавка будет. Как же хочется, чтоб все романтические диалоги можно было бы услышать, а не читать. В принципе, ничто не мешает и полностью игру озвучить, были б, конечно, деньги. Тот же Disco Elysium полностью озвучили спустя два года, и там текста очень много. В общем, ждём и надеемся хотя бы на что-то ещё.

  Это, к слову не первое добавление озвучки с патчами. Патч 1.1.28 добавил озвученные реплики для Теодоры и её телохранителя в прологе. Да и в WoTR недавно добавили озвучку для Айву в начале 3 главы.

  @@guardians-99 я знаю поэтому и сказала что странно, что они не написали об этом. Они писали про озвучку теодоры и даже делали опрос на реддит на эту тему. Но про эту сцену в последнем описании патча ни слова.

  There was a hotfix yesterday maybe this was fixed? I watched the cutscene where Marazhai attacks the castle, I had the voiceover there. Perhaps we're talking about some specific scenes?

  @@nyloth Its a PS5 problem it seems. My friends on PS5 have the same problems. Not the ones on PC. Not "only" cutscene, nobody talks to me anymore. It seems my crew hates me. LOL

  Larian also started with this, but there is a minus here. if the money comes from the outside, then this can affect the plot and characters. publishers often put a spoke in the wheel. would we have a character like mara if the game had a publisher? the big question.

  @@nyloth Right I wouldn't trust any publisher this day to not hamstring creativety and sanitize the game for the mythical "modern audience". Though I think if they need to turn to the community to crowd fund the game like they did with pathfinder. The community won't like disappoint they just need to add more stretch goals.

  @@nicbahtin4774 Yes, quite possibly. They already have some new project in the works. But they probably need to switch to a different engine if they want to make their games more visually appealing. And while their games are beautifully designed, we all know that people love cinematics.
