    Hi everyone, I just want to apologize for not answering or responding to your questions, I do not get alerted when someone answers or responds to my video so if you know how I can turn that on or get alerts please let me know because I don't want people thinking I'm ignoring them on purpose, especially when they're trying to help me. Thanks for all your help. Even to this day I did not find the problem why heat is coming out and I still have the heater core bypassed

    did you checked if the secondary pump should work in a sort of switch-on / switch-off mode and, for some reason, is always on?

    @osvilego1440 That could be but I'm not sure how to test it. I did put the digital meter on the wires going to it while the car was hot but it didn't show a reading more than a few MA.

    The dryer is for keeping moisture and particles out of the a/c system by binding it. This prevents damage because of remaining moisture in the system, that can cause corrosion, quick oxidation of the compressor oil, all leading to excessive wear of other components like the compressor. The moisture can lead to icing of the expansion valve leading to declining cooling capability of the a/c. The dryer cartridge should be renewed from time to time because it has a maximum moisture binding capacity. It is strictly necessary to insert a brand new cartridge every time you open an a/c system, because the contact to the natural moisture of the outer environment leads of the instant saturation of the old dryer cartridge. After inserting a new one, the system has to be closed as fast as possible and filled up quickly with freon again, to prevent the new cartridge to be saturated and become useless in fulfilling its function. A drying cartridge isn't expensive.

    hypothetical wondering if you could wired /soldered another relay and essentially jumping the two with 3rd one to turn on off the two relays ?

  • @georgec7798
    @georgec77989 ай бұрын

    Hi, this video is kind of old and I actually forgot what I did because I haven't viewed the video in a while. I think you're saying you want to use another relay as a switch instead of putting a jumper. Yes if you can fit the relay into the scooter then it should work but there would be a lot of wiring to do with positive and negative leads. If this is what you want to do, you can just put a toggle switch.

    congrats on figuring this out. It has been a couple years, so is it still all working well at 39 degrees? So my real question is did you ever develop a theory as to why the control valve AND the relay failed? I am wondering if you had a current spike via a shorted battery/alternator/starter wire/lug incident. In simple terms what took out the control valve and relay?

  • @bikerboysrus1

    this is not the safe way, this is the best way to teach someone how to start a fire. most people don't understand what gauge wire to use. bypassing the relay will and is giving more amperage to the motor and straining the batteries, causing them both to fail quickly if the wire doesn't melt itself thru the plastic. the SAFE ways are to either by the 10$ speed controller new or desolder the relays and put new ones in. they cost 5$ if you use the pins this guy shows you to solder a wire in and bypass them, your soldering the wrong pins and also taking the long way around a simple fix. so much fail in one video but at least you were trying to help people
