@@DjJDtech so far to date I have not. Only bottom has a frew surface cracks, nothing the jeporidizes structure. I might make an update video soon if you think it would be useful.

@@bakersbuilds yeah would be good to see how you are getting on with it. Did you try cooking your own dough on it? Planning on making my own one towards the end of the summer once I've got my holiday out the way and hopefully have some spare cash to buy a few bricks and slabs

Yes, i did try it with my own dough. I found i had to use parchment paper because i do not have a pizza peel. So it was abit tricky to slid it in and out.

Isn’t this like toxic and can’t you not heat concrete? I want to build one but I’ve heard you have to use a true stone slab and food grade brick?

I let it heat for a while after I built it to cook off anything in or on the bricks. I also dont cook on this daily so Im not too worried. It is something to consider though!

Yea yea, Im aware. Only did those few sticks and switched to chestnut oak for the actual fire. I bet there are a ton of ways, this is just an easy low cost way that I like.

Great question. All the times Ive done it the llant grows longer and has a large harvest. One big perk is they dont blow down and break in wind storms. Not sure if they grow faster though 🤔

Since pavers are not meant for that intense heat. How many times have you used it before the pavers started to crack. Cheap to replace cracked ones but just curious?

@@kimdavidson2810 the only one that has a small crack is the bottom one used for the base. It does affect performance of the oven so I havent replaced it. Ive used it a dozens times. I was a bit suprised more didnt crack.
