Tråkk 'n' Roll står bak Hallingdal Rides, og er eid av de 6 Hallingdaldestinasjonene Geilo, Hemsedal, Ål, Gol, Nesbyen og Flå. Målet for Tråkk 'n' Roll SA er å bygge fremtidens terrengsykkelregion, som setter ny standard i Skandinavia.

Was visiting Nesbyen and rode Hallingspranget twice last weekend, it was awesome. My son and myself enjoyed every minute.. Looking farward to going back to try more trails :D

There IS an age where fear is your friend and you should listen to it . At 78 i don't have the balance , reaction time or strength to ride fast or on technical trails . if i become fearful of something i listen to the fear and GET OFF my bike and got around the obstacle . trying to convince myself that i can make it is stupid . " A man has to know his limitations" 😂

Hope to visit these trails in nesbyen this summer with my 8yo son. Been to Hemsedal and Geilo last summer and we enjoyed a lot.

@@Arsenit lidar scanning is relatively new, but you can search it up and might find something. I think if you're looking for trails, it might be worth asking for local history to find out if there might be hidden trails in places. Lots of towns have old infrastructure that's lost or forgotten.

Incredible area. I wish there would be a nice (tent friendly) natural campsite in town, suitable for longer stays and mountain bikers with kids.
There are camping areas there.
There is a campsite at Sjong but it is about 5km out fo town. The one in town shut down during Covid and never reopened so I'm not sure what is going on with it, perhaps we need someone to move here and get it going again!

Excellent video, I'm 59 and have been riding for almost 40 years, the last 20 in British Columbia. Technical trails and cleaning features are part of what keeps the mind and body sharp. And conquering a healthy dose of fear allows you to keep coming back.
Loved this video. At 58 going on 59, I still am riding my favorite rides and just completed four big (for me) rides last week in South Lake Tahoe before the snow arrived. Challenging myself makes my life better and riding my mountain bikes are part of that plan. Keep it up.
