As the title says, I consider myself a casual gamer. Winning is not the reason I play games, although it is nice on occasion. I play games to have fun, laugh with friends and to have an enjoyable experience. Gaming has been a hobby of mine for most of my life, and now making videos sporadically is a fun way to share the hobby.
My goal is to provide unboxing videos, and play-throughs for games that can be played solo, or "how to play" for other games so that viewers can get an idea if a game is ideal for them or not.
Certain games will play better with the right group of people. Personally, I prefer games that have player interaction and a bit of randomness, also known as "Ameri-Trash". My day job is very much like a "Euro" game, so I tend to stay away from heavy Euro's.
Hope you enjoy!

Hello I know this is an old video but why at 24:22 did you deal a 2nd encounter card?
Hey Dale, you are being missed. I just got the game for 18$ on a sale! Cant wait to play it. TY for the playthrough.
Playing two handed solo is more difficult because the extra Encounter cards really punish you, I'm still learning how to balance the actions.
If you ever feel useless, think about this Ares mat.
Thank you for a well explained and clear tutorial, also thanks for using the starter Spidey deck which made it easier to follow along with.
Very helpful video as always mate 😊
Thank you so much for this!
@@victornorman3671 You are welcome, and happy gaming!!
anyone looking to form an online league playing face to face in zoom? I play a modified basic game using lefty/righty splits and advanced fielding chart
Thx
Nice job sir.
By using the black dice.
Hey quick question, to play against Doom what locations should we use since there are fewer locations in this box? thank you
A little late, but great videos, clear and concise. I really want this game and both expansions
Watched you draw the best possible start "Alright, that's not a great start" D'oh
This is a great tutorial, although I am still confused by the scoring at the end of each round. I did manage to lose the game against the automa on my first playthrough haha.
Thank you for this, it helped a lot
Thank you! Your video really helped me understand the game (the rules weren't that clear, maybe because english is not my 1st language). Also THANK YOU for the coin protector suggestion (5:10), I ordered the same ones and they fit perfectly (also ordered some 21mm ones for the servo-skull thingies)
Where did you buy such vertical stands for market cards? It’s awesome! Btw. When you casted a spell from 4th breach, bonus +1 should be applied only once. If there is keyword „additional” on a spell, it means that it is THE SAME INSTANCE of the damage and bonus is applied for each instance. Just FYI. Thanks for a video!
Excellent playthrough. Several others were either too quick and breezed over things I needed to know or were very convoluted and all over the place. Now to go play for the first time!
A Nice clear look at the minis. Thank you!
BTW it's pronounced "drow". :P
@@MisuVir That’s what I said … “drow”. Lol
Hi. Great video. I just bought mine today. Just a quick question, I noticed that your cards are protected by plastic sleeves. Where can I get those? Thanks a lot!
@@gerard6964 I use Dragon Shield clear matte sleeves. A bit on the expensive side, but I like the way they feel. :) Happy gaming!!
I finally picked up the game Dale. Got to say I'm loving it so far. I hope you're doing well my friend and thanks for all the great videos you've done.
Excellent video. I'm a D&D player but for the kids, your explanation is tops.
Watching this whilst building decks ready for the start of my campaign on Monday! Only 3 years after I wanted to start it, but it is finally happening!
@@GamingRulesVideos Hope you have a great campaign!!
Is it possible to put a cube in the "Play a bird" row in a column where a bird has already been placed this turn, when there is already a cube there? Example: on round 1, for my first action, I place my action cube in “play a bird” on the wet lands. For my second action, I “gain food.” Then for my third action, I place my action cube in “play a bird” on the wet lands AGAIN. So I would be placing 2 birds in the same habitat in the same round. Is that possible? Or would I have to complete the whole column (forest, dry, wet) down FIRST, before playing a bird in that column from right to left? Hope this makes sense. Thank you.
Very to-the-point. Thank you!
Nigga i dont understand shi ☠️☠️☠️
Just landed on this channel searching for MD2 videos. Nice video this one and also congrats for the large amount of videos. Such great games.
First, congratz on the videos. I always check them before buying any expansion (I'd say sometimes I buy them because of your videos...lol). Second, I have a doubt: if we are playing on team mode and the villain is Magneto, how should we do since we don't have CEREBRO card for both teams?
You did the spider combat first attack wrong. You could of saved on each of the 6s as the tentacles ability only counts for its self. Unless I missed something.
question about ape lord phantasm monster card.. if i slay that , do the other players get that benefit to return any monkey idol token or its effect just for me ?
We are all wondering why Dale quit. Did he do a KZread channel update video? If not, he really should. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to do. Surely he has time for that??
he got into a lovers quarrel with Quackalope. was nasty
@@masacuna really? Is there a video about that anywhere? This is definitely not the first time that Quackalope got into a heated controversy
This is such a great game. I love some fan-derived house rules, particularly only having 2 actions per hero, and a mob difficulty variant where they always roll black dice upon attacking that are based on number of heroes. You also can't carry over damage to the mob leader. Perfect stuff.
Thanks so much! Just ordered a copy of this game and im excited! This play through makes it look fun and easy to learn.
What sleeves do you use?
I use clear matte Dragon Shield sleeves. Love the way they feel. :)
What sleeve do you use for your cards?
Ur forgetting agility damage.
Just got the Xmen… still complicated to do 😅
Happy gaming!! :)
Is this a good game for solo play? Not too fiddly?
I’ve gone through the campaign twice playing with 2 characters. Not too fiddly in my opinion. Happy gaming! :)
pro tip: you don't need to shuffle the deck each time you need to draw from it. once is plenty.
Clear and concise. Very helpful, thanks!
Yes the written directions are horrible
43:51 Sorry if I'm wrong, I'm learning how to play the game from your excellent series of videos. Wondering if you applied "driven off" on hostile groups mentioned in the rulebook page 28: DRIVEN OFF To check if a hostile group is driven off, count the number of hostiles from that group that are on the battlefield . If that number is a third or fewer than the number of hostiles originally deployed from that hostile group, the hostile group is driven off . When a hostile group is driven off, first, each hostile from that group that is on the battlefield and is not stunned (pg 33) makes one weapon action . Then the leader removes any remaining miniatures from that hostile group from the battlefield, and then replaces that hostile group’s encounter card on the combat track with the next card from the top of the encounter deck - this replacement card is kept face down . Then the hostile group's activation ends . This seems to imply if you've reduced a group of 3 to 1, the remaining hostile is driven off on their next activation. So if the hostile only does melee attacks just keep all heroes non adjacent before next activation. Killing the remaining hostile increases the chance of inspiration but otherwise, the hostile disappears anyway.
Hey Dale I just purchased this game and I was wondering how placing the 4 action cards would work for a 3 player game? I would assume that the lead investigator would take 2 actions and the others 1.
Great video! Are those just business card holders for your villain dashboard, or are they something custom?
Can you flip the character card once you use the passive ability? For example, if you started the round in alter ego form as Peter Parker, could you get the free mental resource from his ability then flip his card to hero side as Spider man?
