Still have it and can send a video if you want. I can't remember really what stock felt like but i feel like it's not that far off. Definitely has a tiny bit of lag off the bottom but once it gets screaming over 4k rpm it's basically trying to kill me.

Its a 2002 380 motor back from when ktm made a 380! Then dropped into a newer 250x frame!

Never did but on E-40 i have run 28-29 psi for a very brief couple of pulls and the bpm4 controller + 525 pump i have held up fine. Don't know if I ever will since I like the 600 whp for the daily

Such a great bike. Loved the torque and smooth power especially after removing the cat and adding the booster plug. Also loved how capable it was -- could hang with adventure bikes all day. Recently sold it though for another dirt ride as I'm more of a 98% dirt guy.

Sweet bike! Is it breaking up in overrev? If so you've got some power left on the table. And with KTM I heard the porting and springs for the power valve are different on the Super cross vs the bike models...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸🤠 ps I've never owned a KTM, but I'm a big 2stroke fan...

I just picked up a '99/'11sx build a week ago. Its been a flat minute since i spent any time on a dirtbike of any kind. In all actuality its been 10 years. I honestly didnt know how i felt about the 380s power delivery and really overall performance. That was all before i climb on my friends '18 250sx. When i say bottom end torque this thing has most of it. It really feels like a 450 thumper right off that tight turn with 4th and 5th gear pulling hard.

Yeah torque for bottom end instant wheelies but then still has the powerband hit of a two stroke on top. Wish they still made the 380 cause I'd buy a new one all day

@@jackbeets3838 can be a challenge for sure. mine is the 200 as well! The wr200 wasn't in the us for long but existed as the dt200 / it200 in other markets for a while. Also there is a new Chinese bike GPX Moto which is based on the DT240 which was based on the wr200. So maybe can sort some parts though there!

Love the bike. It's so great on road with the v-twin grunt. Off-road fire roads too you can just rip and feel like a badass. It's still fun in this stuff but a totally different adventure than if you're on a dirt bike

Bummer about the drop but at least you’re riding it how it’s supposed to be! Did you have any damage? I managed to break my hand guard in the sand even with a super slow soft drop.

The stock handguard fking sucks. Broke mine wiht a suuuper slow drop too. Got some barkbuster now and dropped it 3-4 times at higher speed/harder drop without any damage..
