    Hello David ben Emanuel Fisher I am a sewing machine repairer in France, and I would like to reproduce your experience with the same pattern as the one you used in your video in order to reach the same conclusions as you, going a little further. On my channel, I dismantle the machines to show what's inside, understand how it works and why one model would be better than another. Since the beginning of my channel, I have wanted to make the comparison between a PR and an SAI. Last week, a customer took one to me for repair. The opportunity for me to disassemble the two machines and make a point-by-point comparison. The question then arises about the embroidery test to do. I said to myself that the best thing was to contact you to ask if you would agree to send me the same reason as the one you used in order to maintain "scientific" consistency and to show that your video is not bullshit. Of course, I would cite you as well as the video and your channel on my own video and I would reference you in the link in the description. I thank you in advance Wilk-Teste Thibaut, Fil-Mécanique

    1. Make sure it’s a Reciprocator for a single head not the same as do a multi head on this model. 2. Try getting hold of a complete re reciprocator set it’s much easier than just changing the reciprocator itself.

    Hello, I ask you to help me. I have a Maya embroidery machine made in the year 2020. I tried to set the needle shaft to 174 according to the electronic setting option in the machine screen, which is the option to put the needle down, but it was not set with me, unfortunately. Please help me in this matter

    Not so familiar with that model but lower dead point is set using the needle bar connecting stud and it should be 178 degrees for a bridge machine and 180 degrees for an arm machine and then the top dead centre must be set to 0 degrees you can hit do the one setting you need to do both

    This comparison is very helpful. We understood that the high RPM advertised by Brother is valid for 1-5 mm stitch lengths only, and the speed will automatically drop depending on the stitch length - like in this video. While Tajima SAI's 800 RPM speed is much more consistent for small to wide stitch lengths, although it will also drop when sewing wider stitches - but not as drastic as Brother's.

    If you think logically- Brother have gone from making domestic sewing machines and now make a commercial machine -besides all the other equipment that they manufacture.Tajima has gone from making industrial embroidery machines and used that same technology to make a commercial machine -Tajima only make embroidery machine no other equipment .The Tajima to give a better end result without fail.

  • @Davidfisheremb
    @Davidfisheremb3 жыл бұрын

    If it’s a bridge type machine you need to turn it to the lower dead position - 178deg and adjust the top collar - this should really be done with a pick gauge , but if you do not have one if you are persistent you will hit the sweet spot . This is the point where the reciprocator goes up regards less of the direction that you turn the shaft

    I prefer Ricoma over anything based on the accessories you get at the set price but what the actual fuck, the Brother PR1050X goes up to 1000 spm, you put it on a slower speed setting which is obvious.

  • @Davidfisheremb
    @Davidfisheremb4 жыл бұрын

    Your analysis is too simple the longer satin stitch is what drops the average speed lower as the stepping motors can only move at a certain maximum speed,The Tajima operating software that controls the superior quality stepping motors is what allows the Tajima to be quicker than other models, as well as the speed of the colour change mechanism. This is a result of Tajima;s Superior R&D.Keep in mind Brothers priority product is not Embroidery machines its Printers, so the focus is lost.

  • @JoeMalovich

  • @Davidfisheremb

    Speed setting is the same it’s the long stitch that it has to slow down more than the Tajima because of the size and quality of the stepping motors for X and Y as well as software

First of all when you turn it on the machine first screen shows frame type (FLAT) and initialize (on) part when you hit the set it is giving this error , when you hit the X sign which is cancel or stop job button screen shows that needle is not on the position which supposed to be . manually on the shaft I bring the needle on the screen and now you are able to see the needle number you are going to work on but when you hit the set button again it gives the same error code . Can you please make a video about that ? I really needed . There is no technicians around me and i need this machine to work .

Debe cambiar tanto la cuchilla fija como la cuchilla móvil, luego ajustar el 2 hasta que se corte manualmente. La fijación de la cuchilla fija es donde debe enfocar.
