Hello master seroius trivia, which mods combo do u suggest if i want to start new campaign on 2024?
runs like these makes me wonder, on average how many failed runs do you record per ante until you can finally upload a successful one out
i hope there's a new let's play of pharaoh when the big changes comes in.
I would love to see one where you actually HAVE to migrate with your army. Trying to get military access along the way, sometimes chased by armies, takes you a while to get there and give the rest of the factions a huge early advantage. Its the most fun ive had. I basically stayed in the starting area for like 10 turns then decided to head west.
Quick question I have the Liu Bei task to form an alliance with Wu but we're already at Kingdom level, can kingdoms form alliances still? Thanks.
@@AxelDaleTattoo no two kingdoms cannot be alliances with each other.
@@SeriousTrivia I thought so! Time to play a different character. I find confederating Liu Biao too difficult on Timeless mode.
yaaayy welcome back! absolutely banger of a run! so satisfying to watch
Hey ST :) You carried me through the 3k game and also started my interest in the history of China. I'm already into the history of Egypt but I'd love it if you continue with this game with the big expansion on the horizon.
Welcome back ST!
Not really back because there are a lot of prerecorded Balatro episodes (since I enjoy playing it so much)! I do have power back but haven’t gotten around to recording a new let’s play series yet
Lovely CA killed the existing game and then killed the follow up... Never again.
In Han china you don't pursue Lu Bu, Lu Bu pursues You
Ironic how Cao Pi of Wei forced Emperor Xian to abdicate before the former became Emperor himself before his death which he passed on the title to his sons. Then later after Sima Zhao of Jin died, his son Sima Yan forced the Emperor of Wei to abdicate, destroying said kingdom. Karma really bites you in the ass, don't ya think?
What actually happened to historical Diaochan and her father after Chang'an was overrun by Guo Si's and Li Jue's henchmen?
Diao Chan is fictional. Wang Yun died in Chang’an during the attack by Guo Si and Li Jue.
Historically, Liu Bei just had bad luck under the weather. However two things happened: a. Hot temperatures forced him to place his troops in the forest or they would die from the heat. He effectively plowed through whatever Wu resistance he found. b. Rain later on would wipe out a good portion of his troops when he retreated
It's a shame that Lu Bu was depicted as a villain in DW. He wasn't pure evil. Granted he was arrogant, ambitious, and a traitor (to Ding Yuan who was slain when Dong Zhuo offered Lu Bu power and Red Hare, as well as to Liu Bei when the brute seized Xiapi castle). However in the actual three kingdoms history, everyone was pretty much traitorous, ambitious and arrogant because of an Emperor that was influenced by political eunuchs, and many warlords weren't happy with what's going on. Lu Bu had the ability to make friends and inspire loyalty. Yes he was more interested in glory in battle by killing weak opponents while finding someone who can match his might, and was temperamental rather than the actual administration of lands. But many people did him dirty by raining down insults on him along with some arrows (Dong Zhuo for example).
Why i never get sima yi event triggered tho?
It usually happens around 208. The trigger is a probability check that happens either at the start of turn or after a battle so increase your chance by fighting a lot during that time as it’s not a 100% chance so give yourself more opportunities
Just finished the playlist, one question. Are you considering doing another run with the expansion?
Yep I am waiting for the expansion
@@SeriousTrivia Wonderful!
Xiahou En has special quote after he's defeated. He's one of the guys killed by Zhao Yun and Cao Cao's sword bearer in the novel. Btw, I think that's a different Liu Yan, not Liu Zhang's father. I vaguely remember there was this Liu Yan in DW5's Guandu, serving Cao Cao.
How do you defeat these elephants
sacrifice a cavalry to not let it charge into your infantry, but before that just concentrate range the best you can
@@SeriousTrivia can you engage with spearman after stopping them with cavalry? Thanks for replying back! I just got the game and loving every moment of it. I'm a 3 kingdom geek too.
@@SeriousTrivia also i know its probably too late because it is already old game. But it'll help if you make a video about how to effectively engage these elephants unit
The key is to limit how much damage they do to you. If you let them charge into multiple infantry units, the losses will pile up. I wouldn’t throw infantry at them since you can’t hold them for long due to their mass. It’s best to just use range. The cavalry is just to blunt their charge.
Bro can you play cao cao on world betrayed (194) start, i found it very intresting, because that's where you have the og character and when the story line hits the fan
playlist is upside down, also the shu-han series
they have been fixed
Finally bought Warhammer 3 due to the summer sale. Obviously its time to binge watch all your Grand Cathay playthroughs so I can learn how to play lol
100% understand that everything is easier in hindsight, but of course, he should have never have left the side of Liu Bei.
Yeaahhhhh, about that 12 Generals. Where is it?
Great! 🎉
Imagine this… There will be a new Three Kingdoms-centric game in which the mechanics would be similar to the Way of the Samurai series (the whole choose your adventure, do whatever the heck you want schtick of the series) and the character embarks on the crazy, complex yet exciting tale of the Three Kingdoms and the character can either remain neutral, elevate his chosen lord to the top or simply stage a hostile takeover of the nation and become the new Emperor.
Would like to see a records lets play, not a fan of the OP general stuff.
there are a few records mode let's play on the channel. 1. Sima Lun playlist: kzread.info/head/PLV2U5Ov1FXfC3YXAoHurgKDLKjrmjlfEd 2. Sun Ce playlist: kzread.info/head/PLV2U5Ov1FXfBx5qYIfE8qFjLphndY66MZ 3. Shi Xie playlist: kzread.info/head/PLV2U5Ov1FXfD5QMnDY6gZWcORvSVcLlys
@@SeriousTrivia Great I will check them out. I've watched a lot of your 3k content over the years always enjoy the quality of the content 👌
Do you chase gong du
It’s optional. If you want to push and eliminate him for good then you should go for it. If you don’t mind him coming back later with a big stack and just want to focus on economic development early then no you don’t want to waste resources and time chasing him
@SeriousTrivia thanks soo much man I was stuck ok back at it now thanks
amazing run! if only that vago joker wasn't eternal haha
Custom characters don't need new custom faction mechanics; they can just steal the ones that are already made. Example: endless space 2. It's a double benefit then: because you can play the historical faction with their mechanics, or you can create your own character and use those same mechanics if you want to try them, but don't like the characters Or something.
