Not a tour. Just information about Europeans taking native land and named after the person who took it. If it was a hostile area, They were not welcome there. I’ve decided to search elsewhere to visit thanks to this video.

I love this old video. I miss the days I spent here. I remember in the Fall and Winter, we'd have apple cider and hot choclate in the cabin as we huddled around the fire to escape the cold.

Beautiful presentation. Just started Kevin Phillips' 1775 and now am curious whether Clark will turn up in its pages!

Great video. I live locally. Jarrett Manor/Traveler's Rest was a very common field trip for local elementary students. The thing that stuck in my mind from the visits back then was hearing that silk worms were raised in one of the areas. That just fascinated me as a child.

Love hiking within the Georgia State Park system! I have been to almost every State Park in Georgia with just a few more to go. Next hike will be the PMT at FDR. Just subbed to your channel.

Very nice video. Good to see some of the family history laid out like this. I'm not a decendant; our branch of the Jarrett family was firmly entrenched up north during the period. The closest the northern branch of the family got was a brief visit courtesy of the 9th Mich. Cavalry during the "Former Unpleasantness."
