Unity. Yes, this brought me to tears, also - just imagine - the American Presidency brought this feeling to us (and it's not the Carter's). I remember two deccades ago when I was around 50, trying to figure out with the help of my AA sponsor, what this feeling I had was. (I had been brutalized as a child, I ran away at 14 because the streets were safer than home, and have dealt with many issues in mental health...I stuffed my feelings) She looked at me and said, "Sweetheart, the feeling you just described is joy. It's a strange lifty feeling, like your insides just got too big for your ribcage - and you have to inhale or bust? Like a burst of golden sunlight after three weeks of gray. That's what I felt having the Obamas' in the White House. God bless them and God Bless America. Let's all vote for love next election? A divided house cannot stand.
