Really helpful thank you. Just building an oo9 layout with these. I assume the spring needs to be permanently under stress to work correctly?

The 37045 would make a fab double header but you would have to disconnect power from the motor as it would still rotate the motor and burn it out. Mainline models are really good looking but they are old now.

if you use glue n glaze on the windows it is a white glue no more fogging.also use a liquid poly cement rather than super glue.

Looks far better than PECO crap. Their bullhead (00 and 0) is just their normal flat bottomed rail, so what is the point?

ok so the issue it seems you're having with the Panier is the quartering is off. the crank pins have to be set 90 degrees from each other. I work on 7 1/2" gauge live steam engines and I rebuilt my friends 2 cylinder "marine" engine so I had to quarter the fly cranks on it.

It's shocking how few Kitson steam trams are preserved, 8 in total around the world, this being the only one running as far as I am aware. They and a few other companies like Dick Kerr made so many. Great to see this one is well preserved!

hey Liam, i Use wood glue with a small cotton budd (Cue stick). I use the stick around the edges of the window frame and then once i glue the window in place, i use a small cloths peg to hold it in place. So when it dries, it dries clear. There also also a testors glue which is made for the glass/clear peices. but i find the woodglue dries the best. Hope it helps :) Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
