Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood

After three decades in the spotlight, numerous GRAMMY®, CMA® and ACM® Awards to her name, countless multiplatinum certifications, and millions of fans entertained, the same passion still motivates and moves Trisha Yearwood. The singer, actress, author, chef, personality, and entrepreneur derives deep fulfillment from simply walking up to a microphone and pouring her heart out by way of a celebrated powerhouse voice. In 2019, she continued that tradition with her first solo full-length since 2007, a collection of Frank Sinatra covers and one original "Let’s Be Frank". Later that year, Trisha unveiled her highly anticipated new single, “Every Girl in This Town,” setting the stage for the 2019 release of her first full-length country record in over a decade, Every Girl, and nationwide tour. The first single achieved the highest debut and biggest add day of her career and amplified excitement for the album. Out now, the record upholds and extends her legacy for a new generation of fans.

Trisha, I'm Old so much that I know you more than you can guess. I just wanted to take the visuals off the prescribed shit, that has been around. This is a song of GOOD DEEDS. And I would like to take the opportunity, to make it good. And when the NAYsayers start yapping I would love to see the outcomes.

Im still appalled how Trish has to invoke the vile liberal agenda into her videos now?!? Unbelievable. This was unheard of when her and Garth made their names in the 90s. Shame on them for succumbing to the liberal media pressure. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I heard this for the 1st time about 5 months ago & listened to it until I learned every word. I sent this to my husband, my daughter, other family & my very dearest friends. Hell maybe even the world for it is on my FB for all to hear. I want them all to know I will carry them home through hell & back. This song speaks to my heart & soul & of who I am. Only 2 of the many I sent it to reached out & said it was beautiful & how much they loved me for being there for them. It saddened me that my husband & daughter were not the 2! My grandson graduated college on Dec. & already had a job so he has moved to my home state of Illinois maybe 10 miles from where I spent 8 years of being raised, he never knew any of that. He stopped by to see us before he left I sat him down & had him listen to it, he listened closely & the last words 'I'll Carry You Home' I sang to him with tears in my eyes for I shall miss him more than words could ever be spoken except in this song. He is the most beautiful loving person in my world, he knows this for I had his back before he was born & my only grandchild. I told him the day he was born that I am his his Guardian Angel here on earth & when I am gone I will still be with him. So my Gage my heart never forget this song & I will forever be there for you. Love to all my family & especially my husband Robert for I wish you could have realized how these words were written for you first, 36yrs. next month my love, my soulmate.

We just laid my wife of 56 years to rest after a long 7 year battle with vascular dementia. We played this song at her funeral services and it was wonderful and the highlight of the service. I was her sole care giver for all that time except for when Hospice came in and took over the last few days. I love this song and as someone has already pointed out this song is so appropriate for those aging and suffering with dementia and Alzheimer's. I use to listen to this song on a many day, late at night after getting the wife to bed. I would sit and cry for the longest time seeing what the wife was going through and knowing what the outcome would be. However, after listening to the song at the funeral, I realized it had another side to it. It was also for those that had already passed on, letting us know that when our time comes they will be there to carry us home to be with them.

Lyrics: When you can't walk and there's chains 'round your soul The burden's too heavy and you've run out of road And you're praying out loud As you stumble through the rain and snow I'll walk out and find you, I'll carry you home When you can't speak 'cause the words are too strong And every time that you try, it just comes out all wrong When your heart's screaming out, but no one can hear your song Oh, I'll sing it for you, I'll carry you home I'll carry you home, I'll carry you home So rest your heart easy, I'll carry you home So wander this world now, fearless and free Climb every mountain and sail every sea But if you wander too far into the great unknown You know I will find you, I'll carry you home I'll carry you home, I'll carry you home So rest your heart easy, I'll carry you home I'll carry you home, I'll carry you home (I'll carry you home) So rest your heart easy, I'll carry you home Rest your heart easy, I'll carry you home
