  2023 I’m just now watching Outlander. Both Sam and Cait are extraordinary in the roles of Jamie and Claire. To me, Jamie is Outlander.

  I've never obsessed over a series as much as Outlander. Love the scenes with Jamie & Claire. He says all the right things at the right time. So romantic!!

  A pleasure to see and hear Sam, sensed to see and hear him so comfortable, as I always see him online and screen. They are both so completely talented and qualified as superior actors... Lifting the cap on the boundries of FINE acting...hats off to the writer, director and last but least the acting crew...For me without Sam cannot see any connection to Outlander⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  I know this is an older interview - but I just get annoyed at listening to Caitroina answer every question and how she tends to answer every question with a lengthy answer. I know Sam can answer in the same way, but a. She doesn’t let him talk and b. He has to sense to keep it light and not give a lengthy diatribe every single time. She can also seem at times borderline rude to him which is cringey in itself and not at all respectful towards him. Yes, she is the main character, but the story would not be what it is without Jaime/Sam. It doesn’t always seem like she appreciates this.

  She's articulate and goes straight to the point. He's not and circles around questions, never answers them which is annoying and boring.

  Caitriona Balfe is so, so articulate and so intelligent in her responses. You can tell she really thinks things through. As the wife of a late recovering alcoholic, the only negative is the constant references to being hungover by Sam. I hope he realizes millions of people listen to him and hang on his every word and think he walks on water. If someone is going to drink, drink, but don't constantly refer to being hungover. I've heard him say this over and over again in different venues and interviews. He should know better. Of course, he may be a functioning alcoholic himself. I don't know. Pushing alcohol is one of the many signs. For what it's worth....

  I just started watching on S3, this woman's acting... I cant explain, she puts so much emotion in parts, the storyline and all the actors get an A+ from me, BRAVO
