I use a alcohol pad to clean the area to be lanced. After applying blood to the test strip, I clean the blood off my finger with the same alcohol pad on the opposite side, that is the non-used side of the alcohol pad.

New to this so just wondering why the result in this video had a point to it as in 5.1 ? My readings are mostly three digits, for example 167 etc. Unless I haven't notice the piont. But my Doctor told me anything below 60 is dangerous. Did he mean 6.0? Anyway's all readings at my clinic and hospital have always been read as a three digit numbers which now I'm a bit confused. Any explanation will be greatful. Thnx.

Hi, thank you for your question. It is measured in mmol/L. There are different measurements for example mg/dL and so on. Your readings are probably measured in mg/dL.

Friends live on a side street in Mississauga that doesn't get plowed by the City. When they awoke, they found their car up to the windshield in snow! Their car, the property, the neighbour's places, and the street were level in waist-deep snow. A nurse who lived across the street returned from her night shift and drove into the hood-deep snow & got stuck. Moe & Mar realized she wasn't going to get her car to her driveway, so they decided to help dig her out. As they waded through the snow & began shoveling, other neighbours gradually came to help. They brought more shovels and a few snowblowers. Residents from all but 3 homes not only got the nurse's car to her driveway, they cleared the road and worked to clear each other's driveways. That's what 'neighbours' do. In the 20 years they've lived there, it's grown from a newly constructed development into a place where people know one another. They help each other & enjoy BBQs together in summer. Their kids have gone to school together. Talking with my friend Mar on the phone last night (I'm in Vancouver), I could hear how tired she was but how glad they were that the neighbours all helped get their street passable. 😊👍 Just sayin'.

105, what does mean
@ralphborroel56842 жыл бұрын
105 is good. An adult should be around 90 to 120. These are general readings for good glucose levels. Even 125 or 130 could be a good level for a diabetic. As long as this reading is an hour after a meal with pill or injection.

Thank you for making this video. You did a great job showing and explaining how to do this; I am an audio visual learner, so I need to see things done to learn how to do things. You did an excellent job of explaining exactly how to do this with clear simple directions and nothing more. I just tried watching two different videos that were at least five minutes long and didn’t learn anything. Thank YOU for YOUR simple and easy to follow video! I learned how to do this because of YOUR video! Keep up the great work!
