  Yes. Apply to dry line and it lasts longer. And the Sharpie Pro seems to last longer than a regular marker. I often touch it up at the start of a day if I’ve used it a lot the trip before

  I'm right handed and could never get used to right hand reels. I use my dominant hand to write, so why not use the dominant hand to twitch or jerk the rod when working the lure?

  In my experience, sun protection from all is about the same. Biggest issue is if windy n hood blowing off ur face. So, I prefer hoodies with drawstring hoods in those situations to keep my face covered. And the neck gaiters help a lot on the water, where u get reflected light from the water. So if I’m on the water, I want one with a built in neck gaiter or wear a buff/neck gaiter with the hoodie.

  Tom, I use the Panoptics cone to zero in on small submerged logs in shallow (4-6’) water. I also use SteadyCast. But the cone angle is not super accurate. Usually about 10-20 degrees off. Have calibrated the compass and SteadyCast many times, but still can’t get the cone super accurate. Is yours completely accurate? If you point straight off the front of the bow is the cone pointing directly at 0/360?

  Not buying it. I catch way more fish when I’m by myself or with a quiet/non-talkative partner. Livescope shows the fish gone after a noise or too much conversation. Boats U.S. has a video with underwater microphone that effectively counters your claims. You can hear every word clearly of normal conversation on an underwater microphone even in a big fiberglass boat. Fish are extremely sensitive to sound waves (ears and lateral lines)as their survival depends on it. I would be interested in watching a video where you approach the subject in a scientific way.
