Current owner of the Luxman M-10X amp, DX-07 CD/DAC Player, new C-10X pre-amp, EQ-500 tube phono stage, and PD-171A turntable with a NOS Ortofon A-90 cartridge running along with Focal Utopia's and an Aurender N20 streamer. All end-game equipment for me. Luxman is fantastic gear not only to listen to but to simply look at.

An excellent question! The X series is absolutely phenomenal in the bang-for-the-buck category. I've listened to them quite a bit and love them. You will get a touch more refinement with the C series, with the upgraded drivers and crossover. If you can find a dealer to A/B them, that is your best bet. You cannot go wrong either way!
