For any who might be interested, a couple of great bread books with easy recipes for beginners that can turn out great loaves like you'd buy at a bakery are Jim Lahey's "My Bread," and also Jeff Hertzberg's "Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes." Both have recipes as simple as just mixing a few ingredients together and letting time and chemistry work their magic, then just pouring the dough into a large cast iron pot to bake, covered for most of the time. Pretty easy to turn out great bakery quality bread people would gladly pay for, and good practice for a bit more advanced bread like sourdough. And you can probably find them at your library.

Totally unexpected, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!

We were in the torture phase for years. Everything you mentioned about Missouri sports teams, we have that saying of ,"No, not again with a blunder play." Recent momentum is promising, though. Indirectly, STL is on the map with Tatum NBA Championship and Matthew Tkacuk NHL champion. BUT collectively, it's right now that we hold our breaths waiting on the next mistake. Mizzou last year kept winning even after the DT INT vs. Georgia. But I believe Mizzou Tigers have a chance to change that view.

Managers are handicapped today. They don’t manage the game they manage the analytics. It’s really sad how boring baseball has become. Where are the .300 hitters? Everyone wants to hit homeruns. Gorman should be in Memphis. They’re ruining baseball it’s all about money

The cardinals front office has stated their goal is to be competitive. It seems the goal is to make a wild card and take their chances. This isn’t cardinal Baseball imo. The front office seems to be doing just enough to keep fans coming. You can argue the team is top 10 in spending but that’s solely because Mozeliak give horrendous contracts. His track record is abysmal. Until he goes I don’t see this team ever being a legitimate contender and Dewitt’s going to have to get over not paying for top pitching or the cardinals should draft pitching the top three rounds year after year after year so they can finally develop a legitimate ace

Didn’t the blues do something similar to what Nashville is doing now back in 2018? Getting ror, maroon and other pieces were a smaller version of what Nashville is doing. I like their aggressiveness. They’re all in to win while forsberg and Josi are in their prime. As a blues fan I hate it but I like the moves as a hockey fan

Makes me a little happy they went win now though because they will be past the prime of the roster in 2-3 years around the time the blues are playoff contenders.

@888HUSKERS20 күн бұрын
You do not draft that high in the 1st round by need. After that in later rounds maybe but that would be a fools errand drafting by need in the top 20 picks. In terms of who they go after #1 round we should be looking at Michael Brandsegg-Nygård, Carter Yakemchuk, Liam Greentree, or Stian Solberg. If Zayne Parekh or Sam Dickinson falls to us we should be excited. I genuinely hope the Blues do not draft Trevor Connelly, he is a locker room cancer. If we get Michael Brandsegg-Nygård, Carter, Zayne, or Sam I’m jumping up and down for that pick. Michael and Stian could be playing NHL minutes in only 1 to 2 years. As for 2nd round I would be excited for Teddy Stiga, Jesse Pulkkinen, John Mustard, Alfons Freij, Luke Misa, Adam Kleber, or Dominik Badinka would be awesome. Especially Pulkkinen, Mustard, Teddy, and Badinka they are going to be playing NHL minutes in 3 to 4 years.

At first glance I thought Perron had maybe come home again. I have grown up on Blues hockey since Hull and the early 80's. David Perron belongs in St. Louis period. Bring him home and put him in the front office with Steen, Macinnis and Army. Absolute rink rat that loves the game. One of the truest Blues I have had the pleasure of watching all these years. Thank you for everything David. All the best to you no matter what comes next.
