  This! This right here! This song perfectly describes why I love choir! It’s both the magic of the music itself and the community around it. My dream is to eventually become a choir director and spread my love of music to the next generation of singers. I love this song and I’m so excited for the all state process.

  The pronunciation guide says "i" is as in "little", but they're clearly saying "lee-la" every time it says lil-lah. Studying this, myself, so I'm wondering which is correct?

  Pretty crazy how this is a choir song and yet I know it from TikTok. The thing with that though is I follow a high school choir teacher or middle school I don’t know which one but I follow a choir teacher on TikTok and this was one of the part tapes that she did.

  I am tearing up, choir is being removed in my school, and today, we had every single choir mixed together, and it was our very last performance, we all gathered together, some of us getting very emotional during the song, we all sang our hearts out to this song and gave in our best effort knowing it was our last piece ever to sing and we wouldnt see the elective next few years, i cried and teared up when the song was over, i had some very strong emotions knowing it was one of the hobbies i loved to cope with, i will miss my chorus.
