It's in two different keys. It's been lowered 3 half steps from the original key (I think), and the singer is singing an octave lower.

I just got into Wicked this past autumn and I'm in awe of the freedom this song represents. I never really thought this could be set in a key that was comfortable for a male voice, but after hearing this, I've even gotten the courage to learn it. Thanks a lot for showing us that it can be done!
