Hi, we are Megan and Nat 👋 A travel couple from the UK with a passion for finding beautiful and underrated locations around the world!
The Endless Travellers began in 2021. As soon as restrictions lifted from the pandemic, we jumped on the first flight to Porto, Portugal, where we intended on spending 3 weeks. However, Covid had other plans and a 3 week trip in Portugal quickly changed into a 3.5 month adventure around the whole of Europe, visiting 8 countries and falling in love with the travel lifestyle.
We have now been to 15 countries together (and counting!) and love capturing our travels through videography and photography to inspire others to explore our beautiful world.
We share with you all our trips, highlighting the best things to do, places to eat and stay, itineraries and budget tips. We'll show you why you should venture off the beaten path to find hidden gems that most people will never see and you can have all to yourself.

Hello, the name Kruje should be spelled Croia. In Albania, the letter 'J' is spelled similar to the letter 'e' in the English language.

@conniecrew2585 thank you so much, we are so glad you enjoyed our videos. We always try to give information we would want to know. I think the rugs vary in price based on size and style, but it might be between £15 and £100 for the handmade rugs.

@@theendlesstravellers I would recommend Shishtavec is known for shtegu i Ngjyrave, Borje is the village I was born. We are known as the minority of Bulgaria/North Macedonia, very interesting. People are nice and friendly and we have very different traditions. You will enjoy it. 😊🤗

By the way .. have you consider going to Lake of Lura in Diber ? and Mat region town Burrel? The journey there I think is beautiful .. mountains and lakes toward Burrel.. via old road not the new one.. you can stop at Lake ulza during that trip.. Just a few tips... I'm not sure how long you are staying...

And how about parking in Albania? Are there any fines for parking on the roadside where there are no parking spaces?
@YourFear97 parking can be difficult, but it depends on where you are. Some places such as on the coast, there are lots of people getting fines for parking on the road (we almost did this, but got told by a local that we would be fined). In some other places, you might be able to get away with it, but we always try and play it safe.

So glad you enjoyed the video! The hike the the waterfall was quite easy and straightforward. The end was a uphill and a bit loose under foot. But it makes a great short hike from Theth. The accommodation cost us around £56 per night. I hope this helps

If u have more time u can see for yourself the hospitality of the people there . An albanian's house is the dwelling of God and the guest , that's what we say back home. Can you make Theth now that there's new road as a day trip from Shkodra or you should stay overnight
It is doable, but it might not be that enjoyable as the roads can be tiring to drive. If you can, we would recommend spending at least one night and exploring the surrounding area

What time of year were you there? I find your videos very honest and helpful. We are looking at Albania for our first overseas holiday with our children. So sad to see the beaches like that. Glad you show us the good and ugly.

@theendlesstravellers we are planning to go mid to end of June. Which I hope is beating the crowds and at the same time will be warm enough to enjoy the beaches. Thinking of Shkoder (saw you last video, loved it), Kruje, Himare, Vlore/Sarande, Gijrokaster. How does the beaches compare to Greece? I really want to experience those turquoise blue waters and nature without the trash. 💚 from 🇿🇦
@myfarmkitchen7492 you should be able to avoid a lot of the crowds. They are all such beautiful places, we will be doing a video on Kruje too, so hopefully it will help. We found the beaches to be genuinely better than Greece, as the waster was a lot bluer, however, most beaches have sun loungers on, so it is hard to find space if you just want to put your towel down

It is such a beautiful city! You should definitely visit if you go to Albania. We would recommend doing more than just the beaches as Albania has so much to offer. Glad you enjoyed the video
I agree in that Butrint is kinda... boring. But they are spending millions of dollars in building some visitor centers with grand, contemporary architecture to try and turn it into a more interesting park. If you google "butrint renovation," you can see what it's gonna look like.
That definitely sounds like a good investment. We will have to go back when they have completed it to see what its like

Shouldn't the car rental company compensate you guys for the car tire replacement? Sidenote: borsh is known as a "locals" only place (as is himare), so things are generally cheaper, whereas Ksamil is a tourist hotspot with prices being crazy.
We tried phoning them, but they said it was our responsibility even with full insurance. It definitely seemed like a more local beach

Baby it's albania, the most they'll do if they catch u swimming is some random guard rudely telling u to get out of the water 😂 also, fun fact: during communism, when albania was like north korea, people would escape the country by swimming to corfu

I love that you guys have actually been pronouncing every name of city / town 100% correctly so far. Haven't sabotaged anything like other tourists ahah. will be watching your whole albania journey vids. Also, the locals do believe the thermal baths have healing properties bc my aunts always go there whenever they feel unwell for prolonged periods lolol.

It definitely has a tragic history
Amazing drive through a truly beautiful country , funny but true story I did the same in kosovo as I forgot to pay a bar bill but did so when I returned to U.K. . I felt awful and almost like a thief at the time lol you sorted it and in life things happen so maybe you can laugh now . Great video but the driving out there is insane , catch you in a week and a half as we fly to Corfu Friday morning flight 6.55 from Luton , cheers and loving the channel
It was definitely a horrible feeling, but we can laugh about it now. It is definitely a completely different driving experience compared to the UK. I hope you have an amazing time, you will love it!
