So how many “executive orders” can a president write and no longer be immune? I thought only Congress can declare war? I think our current president has functioned more like a monarch. We live in a country that was established as a counter to the monarchy rule and taxation imposed by England in the 1700s. Supreme Court is to be a check on the functioning of the other branches of our gov. and prevent dictators from seizing power.
