    I cannot breathe the hose was like fire 😅. But it was satisfying to watch though. I got scared when it started to gallop but she was like to connecting with horse by talking rather pulling the rein nonstop.

    This sport really does take teamwork! He’s got amazing stamina and confidence and seems to love this, but without your caution he would definitely get you both in trouble. You guys are a great team! ❤

    I don't know why you're bothering holding a crop, especially with a horse this powerful and enthusiastic. He's almost too powerful for you. This horse could easily win every circuit with a more confident and experienced rider. You kept giving your horse mixed messages. And ditch the crop. You have enough of a hard time staying on your horse as it is.

    Some cross country competitions require you to hold a crop. She could also be using it for steering, switching the side the crop is held on can help your horse perceive a barrier and be able to turn in a way that will prevent injury. This person clearly knows what she’s doing, and holding a crop should not impede your ability to stay on the horse at all, because you are balancing with your legs and thighs, not your hands.

    You don't know how to ride a horse You can't decide if you're going fast or slow Your communication with the horse is very bad

  • @Equines_and_Animals
    @Equines_and_Animals3 күн бұрын

    She has to slow down and speed up continuously to be able to make the strides. She is gauging how many strides she has and adjusting the horses speed (length of strides) to prevent refusals, tripping, off balanced jumps, half strides, etc. if she just let the horse run as fast as it could the whole time and jump the jumps without a second thought whilst running his head off, that would end up with the hose with a broken leg, and a rider with a broken face. This rider knows what she’s doing, her horse enjoys his job and he understands his riders signals.

    This be taking me back to the time my horse bolted. Let me tell you the story. We were having a good lesson, but a bird flew through the arena, and spooked my horse. He bolted and jumped the fence. I held on and went into a jockey position. I gained control, but I kept galloping. I jumped over a cross country log and then stopped him. My trainer was asking me what happened and I told him that story. He was impressed, and lets me jump cross country during my free time now.
