In 2021 she released her original song “7th Heaven” as well as several new covers, including “Easy on Me,” “Billie Jean” and “Mercy.” In 2022 she released the covers "Suspicious Minds" and "I Have Nothing." In 2020-23 she also released many short TikTok clips. She performed at three concerts last summer, and in 2023 an album is due to be released.

Nice reaction Chris! You probably know by now that the location is Saint James Church. The few complaints about her dress is a bit of nonsense. Like you said, she is getting older and that, to me, she looks very classy and elegant. Like you, I was hoping the other video would be coming out at the same time, but I guess we have to wait a little bit longer. The Artist Version(what Toby Gad called it) has more instrumentation and sounds commercial radio ready. I just wonder about the reasoning behind it. And let's be honest, if people new to her see and hear this for the first time, they MAY be thinking that she's just another one of those studio artists that sound like crap live. And THAT is bothering me, because absolutely nothing could be further from the truth, as all of her Angels know ofc. But it is what it is, and it isn't half bad 🤣😂😂😂 It is STELLAR. But still.... Interesting that you say this is not live but perhaps the echo in that church (St. James' Church in Sussex Gardens in London) was too delayed to make a good production or they fixed it in post production but I like both versions they put out. More Angelina is always preferred.
Im not sure that its not live; as we know Angelina is crazy good live and I would not be at all surprised if it were confirmed this was all recorded live in the church, one take! I just didn’t hear the reverb I would expect, but it could have been fixed in post like you said. Obviously they added strings..

Angelina is obviously singing, so I wouldn't call it lip syncing. There are two types of lip syncing. In one case the singer sings more than one take, and the best sound is dubbed over the video. The images are manipulated so that they are in sync. In another case the singer pretends to sing by moving their lips while the recording is being played. This was often done on tv shows in the past where the singer was obviously lip syncing to the record, often because they didn't have the means to produce the desired quality of sound, or the singers weren't capable of doing an adequate job in a single take.
She may be singing (not just lip-syncing with no sound coming out) but the sound you are hearing was recorded in studio. You can tell just by looking at her mic placement to her mouth--it is too far away and not being adjusted for different notes. Plus any audio engineer would tell you the echo that would come out of such a large room would be a nightmare to correct for.

I think this is just a music video. To me sounds there are more strings involved than just one cello in this video. I don't mind this being a studio version. A professional artist must make also real studio versions. She can sing live. Everybody knows that if they are familiar with her career at all.

My guess is that they recorded in the church and then did postproduction in the studio.
I’m thinking the studio recording was done a while ago and they just used the church as a setting for the video. Similar to how most music videos are done. This video is probably for promotion of the single not for a live performance
What has really improved since the age of 16 is the stage precence ,her acting out the feelings that she always inbodies in every interpretation of the song is epic

I believe "bad valintine" will be a hit too; and bad valintine is definitely her best performance ever; but who knows, the other love love love songs that toby gad referred to, one of which might blow our socks off and be a mega hit, just have to wait and see, I definitely want to see the hoody version; because the song has that Angelina Jordan touch that is soooo unique 😊

Yes, you are right. There are passages where you hear the cello and violins together . Still , for me, its perfect.
I immediately checked all the churches near the Palladium - it's a little further away from there, but not much: It's St. James' Church in Sussex Gardens in Paddington, London. It's halfway between the south entrance to Paddington station and Lancaster Gate to Hyde Park.

I think this is my new favourite, its exactly what I have been waiting for from jordan. Its kike she enjoying herself fir the first time.
