Just finished testing them for myself, easily my favorite set of addon maps for the game so far. By the way, was it you that made the srb2kart version of Sega Rally 2's Euro Mountain? I'd love to see that one come back.

@@pacothemajestic Glad to hear that! SR2 Euro Mountain was done by Mocha/TransCansdaLimited for Coffee Cup...but as she also made Mermaid Lake and gave me permission to port both tracks (and I ported ML already), that means that I will be able to bring that track to RR too in the future :)

is there a way to make it work with the GC pad adapter natively instead of the "standard controller"?

@@famicom89 unfortunately I don't think you can- you can configure the controls to the GC Adapter as if it were a normal PC controller, but as you need to have Dolphin's port set to AM Baseboard, you can't keep/use the GC Adapter option directly for this.

Ring Racers SlipTide is just OP. If you master it and also master the WaveDash, you can easily win some cups on Gear 2. I remember than SRB2K SlipTide was just simple and dont change your gameplay, but after RR release they just made it broken.

@@ValExp543 If you mean that you're getting a drift mini turbo instead of a sliptide, then it must mean you are holding the drift for too long. You only need to tap the drift button after a boost (or if you drift into a sneaker panel or boost, let go as soon as you get boosted) to sliptide.

@@MashBro It sure would be nice to revisit this game again with input display if I had a controller to do it- I remember playing this with a GC controller, but I don't think I'll touch this game in intermediate/expert with keyboard because of how precise you need to steer in those speeds lol

Catch is, a comment that I don't know if still exists in the video from Slopes mentioned that he was requested by the developer of the game he contacted to not release the game. So currently, while we would know said developer has it, chances of reaching out to him or him agreeing to send the game are low (arguably maybe to avoid legal issues with SEGA...?), as Slopes did get the game from him but can't upload it due to said request. Whether it can resurface from a miracle of someone unrelated still having it and uploading it (assuming that it can't...you know, anonymously resurface out of nowhere) is the question at hand, because that's the only minuscule chance this could have to be recovered...

yo, i was grinding out some cups and i noticed, not only is Dark Fortress good for practicing sliptides, but it's also good for practicing Lite Steer sliptides! That last turn has like 10 rows of panels and is super wide so there's plenty of room. I knew about sliptides but I didn't know till this video that there were more complex sliptides like that!
