    We have it, yes! A lot of my comps from marvel / dc etc come fedex. I think we even have ups which is odd lol. I will do more videos! This less editing style works better for me time wise so going forward expect more videos likes this. I don’t sell on eBay, but that’s actually not a bad idea. • @RobsonINK

    Thanks! I’d say the best thing would be to start filling up a sketch pad front to back EVERY MONTH. Treat art like you’re a body builder and start daily “working out” aka drawing. Find scripts online of comics and start drawing pages or better yet start making your own comic. And most importantly, study those books!

  • @janpitkasalo

    Hey Will! Great videos, thank you so much for all the insider info :) I was wondering, do you think it's better to have your portfolio be one long comic that you've just made (maybe specifically for the review)? Or is it better to show some of your old/different stuff, too? Also, is it better to show one style in your portfolio, if you had a "bigger project" in a different style? Or, is it better to show you can also draw in a different style, or is that a no-no?

  • @RobsonINK
    @RobsonINK2 ай бұрын

    Definitely show the variety. Who knows, one of your styles may be just what an editor is looking for! A comic being your portfolio is a novel idea, but, editors just want to see the art and they want to see it separated (as in show pencils on one page and inks on another).

  • @RobsonINK

    I’ve gotten faster with time. As my set skills get better it becomes easier to create a page. But, yes, if it wasn’t for a deadline I’d be MUCH slower (and my art would be better too). Deadlines determine art style!

  • @RobsonINK

    It was just a standard comic paper I got off the internet at the time. The blue is a certain colour of blue that’s easy to get rid of when you scan into the computer so that the lines are gone for the final art and colorist. Every publisher has their print dimensions
