As an American, we need to return to this stuff! Making things that nobody else has the balls to do. I'm a retired engineer. I got into the biz, due to a guy named Neil that walked on the moon. Funny thing, in mid career, I got to work for Neil. My graduation, which I didn't attend (I was already at work), missed the opportunity to shake John Glenn's hand. I did get to meet some amazing folks, Ed Teller, among a bunch of astronauts. Neil's still my favorite "dude", balls of Tungsten, heart of gold, with a smile that would melt an entire crowd. Wished we made them like that today, (my grandson looks like him, so I still have hope).

If you want to see an SR-71 up close go to the Strategic Air Command (SAC) Museum in Omaha. When you first walk in there is one hanging at a slight at eye level from a glass dome ceiling. Really cool. There are also 3 hangars full of numerous other military planes and helicopters.
