I'll let you know if it's worth the hype. If it's not I'll give you valid reasons to hate on it.

15:50 Btw, they use the 3D models from the outro for the characters but make them look like 2D animation which is pretty interesting I think. The characters look basically like the ones from their respective comics that are partially adapted for these episodes.

9:36 I think that especially the old DC an Marvel comic style takes some getting used to but the newer-ish ones look pretty crisp imo. And reading stuff like "Injustice", "Invincible"(especially after the art upgraded), "Radiant Black", "Secret Invasion"... is really interesting to me (and many other great comics of course).

X-Men '97 is a continuation of the original X-Men animated series that ran from 1992 to 1997 (hence the name '97). A bunch of things that appear on this show were introduced in the original one first. This is a sequel series

13:40 In Marvel lore, there are different kinds of humans and sub-categories classifing them. - Humans (Homo sapiens) - These are the normal usual humans that populate the world. Characters like Iron Man, Doctor Strange, War Machine, etc are all still normal humans, since they rely on either techonology or magic for their abilities. - Human Mutates - A mutate is a being who acquired a physical characteristic through exposure to one or more mutagenic agents such as chemicals or radiation - superhumans who were not born with the potential to naturally develop powers. Mutates are typically characters that have been somehow genetically mutated in order to attain their superhuman abilities, for example by exposure to magic, radiation or toxic waste, through the bite of a genetically-engineered spider, etc. Spider-Man, Captain America, Luke Cage and the Fantastic Four are a few examples. - Mutants (Homo superior) - Mutation is caused by the X-Gene in the mutants' DNA. Mutations normally manifest themselves during puberty, often as a result of a traumatic event. There is a clear distinction between mutants and mutates. Examples are the X-Men. - Inhumans (Inhomo supremis) - Inhumans are an offshoot of humans genetically engineered by the Kree, after the Kree had discovered humanity's latent potential thanks to the Celestials (basically Cosmic Gods). Examples are the Inhuman Royal Family, Quake and Ms. Marvel. A few other examples are the Deviants and the Eternals.

Wow the world building is more thorough than I thought. This has been insightful. So can all of these reproduce with each other or are Inhumans completely out of our league?

@@thehaterreview As far as I'm aware, all of these species can reproduce with each other. However, none of their superpowered genes are more likely to pass down to their children as any of the others. Basically, a human and a inhuman can mate and their child could be both human or inhuman, the only way to know would be by testing. Same thing with Mutates x Mutans, Mutates x Inhumans, Humans x Mutates, Mutant x Human, etc. Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are both Mutates, but their daughter has still yet to show any signs of being one. But she's still young so maybe in a few years. In a different note, Spider-Man's daughter (who only exists in a few universes) inherited her dad's powers, even though her mother had none. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman are both Mutates, but their son, Franklin Richards, is one of the most powerful Mutants ever, while their daughter, Valeria Richards, has no powers at all. Mutants are suppost to be the evolution of humans, so more of them will pop-up as time goes on. Inhumans are genetically altered, so while there may not be as many of them as there are Mutants, they will still exist for a while. And Human Mutates are never going away because there are always going to be people experimenting on themselfs or being given DNA-altering abilities
