I don't know why many late 70's- early 80's bands from Liverpool are considered neo-psychedelic. I think the Teardrop explodes are the only genuine neo-psychedelic band in british new wave

Yes, and notice how he speaks of getting to Wembley, back in the days when the semi finals were at venues like Hillsborough and Villa Park, and so making the prospect of getting to the Final even greater. When they made the semis be played at Wembley as well, it definitely took something away from the glory of the FA Cup.
