Passionate about the transition we will all be making over the coming years to Electric Vans! Celebrating, and telling the stories of the companies leading the charge! Vans count and matter to the economy and to the individuals that make their living driving/using them!
Finally to talk about Mental Health amongst drivers as they are a high risk group! Its Ok to not be OK!

by-wire is more things to go wrong.
Given the aviation industry also use “by-wire” I think you will find it is MUCH less likely to go wrong #safestformoftransport
In your opinion do you think that they will survive??
I know there are a lot of good people that are knowledgeable and determined so with the right support externally then they have every chance
CANOO STOCK 💰🚀
😂😂😂 It's down 99% from stock opening
Stop shorting the stock and let this company succeed!
THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD!!!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INVEST IN THIS COMPANY!!! ONE OF THE WORST INVESTMENTS I HAVE EVER MADE!!! TONY AND THIS BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEED TO BE IN PRISON FOR MISLEADING INVESTORS!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
Ev vans will never work, give one to a builder for a month, he'll tell you the truth. Stop asking clean hands job people. For them it will always be exciting and a novelty to try one round an empty test track
As you point out, the vehicle is not the problem. I want to see Canoo succeed, but the company can't seem to get out of its own way.
You are correct, most people who have driven one love it. The problem is getting it into real production. They are well behind their stated production goals from a few years ago and are struggling financially. I really want them to succeed, not least because I own a good chunk of stock and have had a reservation for an LSV for years now. If they can get orders out of the UK it'll help them raise more capital to get into production and maybe keep the company alive.
Thanks for your comment and it is the only mindset that will help keep them moving forward! I hope that you faith will be rewarded!
Belvidere Assembly Plant, Illinois, and Vauxhall Luton Plant UK, in my mind are two Canoo assembly locations of 5 years from now. Just my vision, not fact. But then?
I have been keeping an eye on these guys. I am presently running a Polestar, would love to run a van as a daily driver so that I can go camping at the weekends, have not yet found a van that is electric and has sufficient range at all, much less at a reasonable price. I'll probably keep the Polestar for 2-3 years, it will be very interesting to see how Canoo and the Chinese brands are doing at that juncture.
Full disclosure. What financial relation do you have with the company or the stock?!?
None with the stock. I am helping the company get a plan for the UK and meet fleets here
@@electricvanman Ok great, I hope they prosper and start delivering some product!!!
I hope you can pump the stock. Man I am so far down!
Well I can’t promise on the stock front but I hope to help them be successful which hopefully will have the right effect 🙏
5/6 seater crew van, one tonne payload, VAT qualifying , 500 mile range or more and not going out of business before they even get going please.
make this available for private customers, never expected to see it in uk.
Have one to replace the e expert
Great product, scam of a company ran by a sleezy grifter.
Where else can we view these vehicles, a list of locations would be very helpful, I did message them several weeks ago asking this question but not had a reply, disappointed.
There will be opportunities as they come more permanent in the UK. This will be in the next few months. Regards exactly where and when I am not sure yet. Are you a UK fleet manager?
@@electricvanman no just a frustrated Cybertruck reservation holder from February 2020, I want to replace my Nissan Navara with an EV pickup and if both were available now I would probably go for the Canoo. Time Tesla were honest and said if it’s going to be available worldwide or not.
Canoo is too good to fail. Innovation, creativity, and technology are the backbone of Canoo.
It is 100% going to fail. In fact, it's not going to survive the summer!! They have cost me literally 10s of thousands of dollars and I am now on a mission to spread the news that this company is a complete FRAUD!!!
What’s the wait it can carry
It will be able to carry a tonne of
Weight?
❤
👍 Loved seeing them in the Netflix movie Atlas. Cheers
Great to hear the feedback on this van, soes seem to have a lot to offer for UK fleets.
If they could just make it like a berlingo mpv inside with 3 foldway/removable split seats I'd be trilled. Whats the head hieght like compared to the berlingo? I often run my B9 berlingo with the middle seat out to fit my mountain bike/long items in and still keep 4 seats or all the seats out for load lugging for work. I was looking at the 7 seat e-berlingo which would be enough to carry my kids and their friends but the range (even on the 2025 one) is just not enough for long trips.
Love it. For years automakers has been talking about the uniqueness of their EVs but this is the only one deserve the word unique, both commercial and consumer.
Many people try to use the phrase “game changer” when it comes to Electric Vans, but I get the impression this one may actually deserve it. Time will tell!
@@electricvanman It just make no sense for an EV without a combustion engine to have hood. People will eventually change their stereotypes on vans just like they have on SUVs decades ago.
I like the window!
over sensitive steering?
HUD tells you what gear you are in?? F or R any more??
P … what more do you need?
Tesla of vans would travel 400 miles on a charge..lol
Well given the standard model 3 is around 289 miles why would you think that?
200miles.. not enough range. I need 350 at least. 200 miles, I can't get from Leeds to Cramlington and back or Leeds to Huntingdon and back. normal distances for me. plus, diversions etc.
Hold on, when you say less parts less stuff that can go wrong...the problems with those systems is that they will be super difficult to service rapair and it will require very specialized tools and traomed workers to fo the costly job. I am not sur its benefiting the consumers. The more electronic modules and screens, the .ore impossible it is to repair and every cars needs to be fixed at some points.
Great explanation for the older and more conservative crowd that may have been reluctant. 👍🏻 you don’t sound like the usual car industry expert. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you ! I really appreciate the comment. I am simply someone that has been in the industry helping fleets use vans well and now have focused on electric 👍
all the bullshit makes me think you work for canoo
Cause I like it and speak positively around the concept and the drive that I have had means I work for them? Frankly speaking I would be inclined to do so in the UK but that would NOT lead me to “BS” my way through a review- I have way to much to lose !
How much for the swb your testing. Thanks
We do not have UK pricing yet.
Lovely car , but you can’t compare it to my Barbarian l200 😂 .
Horses for courses I guess! Having worked for that brand I know the pleasure they give in full off road mode!
Would love to have it has a camper van.
Stone chips will be a big deal
the first video on my feed next to this one is from the wall st journal about canoo and its imminent bankruptcy if it doesnt secure more funding, it doesnt bode well for potential buyers.
Of it were to be ised as a camper van base it would need a range extender as 210 miles is just not good enough. As a delivery van 210 miles is bearly enough for a days work so again needing a range extender. DC fast charging is an absolute joke and cant be currently relied on to keep your workers on the road earning money.
As a camera man and photographer, this would be great if it was 4wd with the spec to turn it into a day van, like the old Mitsubishi delica
Not going to survive market as China can make something better for half the cost.
Whilst I see many Chinese products coming to market the reality is that US and European (inc UK) are bringing in tariffs which may eliminate price advantage and frankly this is the best Van I have driven and if the whole proposition lives up to expectations there won’t be any Chinese products that will compete
So if it's like tesla do you mean it's a piece of trash? EV is for golf carts
I think you know I certainly do not! As Tesla changed the market dynamics for cars so this could change them for Vans
Canoo reservation holder since December of 2020 - I loved their concepts, modularity and products, but this company left everyone who made early reservations completely out in the cold. I wanted an MPV, but reserved the pickup because Canoo was indicating at the time that the pickup truck was going to be their first production vehicle. I understand that they need serious cash to stay viable, but the shift to courting corporate sponsors and trying to sell fleet vehicles and vans without any communication or regard for any of us who offered support and paid money up front. They turned their backs on the people who believed in their vision and keep the lights on. Canoo was in a position to bring steer-by-wire technology and a BEV pickup trucks to market before Tesla, but somehow lost sight of filling that gap in the market and creating a revolutionary consumer product. Instead, they opted to circle the drain and hope to win EV fleet delivery vehicle contracts. I watched their stock peak at over $460 (when I made my reservation) and then fall all the way to the current $2 value over the past 4 years . At this point I'm just thankful that I was able to get a refund for my deposit. Canoo is an incredible concept that has been mismanged to the brink of bancrupcy. It'll be a miracle if they ever deliver any consumer vehicles or get as far as Fisker.
I need a mobile gaming and stock market center.
lol still no where near what would reliably serve my customers. Especially baring in mind the wait of are equipment will effect the battery range a lot further. And operating in a remote area of the uk where there is little charging infrastructure and extremes of wether.
Sounds a bit like an advert for canoo
What can I say…. I like it!
@@electricvanman An honest reply 😉
Most service crew vans are loaded with tools on day one and stay that way for the duration of, one ton rating is not enough for that not to mention the range when loaded and lights wipers and heaters on ! Stick a mini digger on a trailer behind it and you’re going to be in trouble.

Price? Range? Warranty? 2 year servicing? There are no booked services on a Tesla so why do Ford? PS get rid of the music!
65kWh battery size for a van that size does not seem all that large to me. As soon as you have a serious load and/or start running tools off it, that range is going to fall a lot I would expect. To be fair this is not just a problem with this van though, a lot of the electric vans available seem to be aimed at shorter range last mile delivery scenarios. I'm guessing it's biggest competitor would be the eDeliver 7 with a 88kWh battery which for many might be more attractive.
Seems most British reviewer fancies them self a comedian.
I think many people think the have one stand up routine in them… leave me to my delusions 😀
They should have included an ICE version, at least a hybrid one.
If you know that your market will end in max 15 years if not a lot less why would you go to all that additional expense?
